The Loveable Rogue
Popped in for Friday lunch. Food was excellent, 3 small plates for £18 was a really good value for money and a great way to try a few different things on the menu. 4 of the 6 dishesbwe ordered in picture & we did not leave hungry. You can also order from the main menu. Friendly service too. Will definitely be back.

Great food. We had the sunday roast. One of the best we've had in Glasgow. Great service as well. They found a spacious 2 seater table four us and our 5 month old. We will definitely be coming back.

Been looking forward to trying the Sunday roast for a while and it did not disappoint. We were shown to our table as soon as we arrived and the staff were very friendly and service was quick. The food was delicious especially the beef and for a limited Sunday menu there was great options to choose from. It is more expensive than a typical Sunday roast but worth the money in my opinion. Perfect Sunday date day as its very cosy inside and the decor gives a relaxed atmosphere. I'd recommend booking in advance as it was really busy. Thanks for a lovely afternoon I'll definitely visit again.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, roast beef with all the trimmings including Mac & cheese. Very busy but service was spot on & all the food was excellent. Third visit and everything still as good as the first. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Came here as a surprise for my birthday. It was the best surprise and absolutely delicious. Fantastic value and a really lovely experience. We'll definitely be back and I think it'll be a firm favourite from now on.

We visited The Loveable Rogue on a Thursday lunchtime, the place was not busy when we arrived but more people came when we were eating. It's a nice atmosphere, a lot of light but cosy, we sat in one of the booths. We were welcome by Alex, a friendly member of the staff that talked us through the highlights of the menu for the day and suggested the right cocktails to go with the food, providing the explanation for his reasoning. We went for crunchy oysters, Scotch eggs, white bait, lamb and potatoes with black pudding and cheese board.I have to say that last time I had such a great food was at Michelin star grade establishment. The flavours and the textures were perfectly balanced and the attention to the presentation of the plates was clear too. Everything was enhanced by the fantastic drinks that everything was paired with. The bill came at about 60 pound each including a good tip, which I thought it was good value considering the amount and quality of the food, plus the couple of cocktails each. It's a great place and we will definitely go back.

We really wanted to love it here after everyone raving about it but unfortunately, it wasn’t the best first-time experience. The service was fabulous, the waiters both helped us choose a wine to suit our meal and kindly packaged up the leftovers of our dinner for us to take away! But the food wasn’t the quality I was expecting for a fine dining Sunday lunch. We did go on Father’s Day which would’ve been a busy time to go however I don’t think the particular time we booked the table for was ideal either, we didn’t get seated until quarter to nine in the evening so by then in my opinion and having a background in the food industry it wasn’t the freshest food offered. Our Yorkshire puddings weren’t crispy and soft just the type of way things go once been reheated over a period of time. Our beef wasn’t hot and within a few minutes of it being delivered to the table, it was freezing cold. The sides were fine and we enjoyed them however the show-stopper for us was the beef and Yorkshire puddings and they didn’t live up to the hype I’m afraid. Both our Deserts had potential however I wasn’t amazed but my friend enjoyed hers. Overall, I would like to give the restaurant another go, and possibly arrive earlier in the evening to ensure we are getting fresh food presented, however regardless of the time I think for this specific restaurant everything should be made to order anyway. For this reason, we never paid the 10% service fee which we gathered the waiters weren’t best pleased about it turned the atmosphere quite awkward as usually we’re happy to pay. Nothing to fault about the staff I just wish we had an earlier booking and the kitchen was producing fresher food. Would still recommend to at least try once to friends and family however will reiterate these issues and preferably go earlier in the evening if given the chance.

The loveable Rogue is a small restaraunt in the West End of Glasgow that has old style pub feel. The staff greet you at the door are are attentive and friendly throughout your stay. The kitchen is an open kitchen (via a glass petition) where you can see the chef and his staff work away preparing your meals. As it was a Sunday afternoon the Sunday roast was the dish of the day which was smashing. All disses are home made and no freezer roast potatoes or Yorkshire puddings here. Highly recommend

Fantastic meal and the vibe of the restaurant was great. We went for the Sunday roast deal which is such good value for money. Absolutely loved the food especially all the sides and how they were presented. Will definitely be back!
