Holmelyne Labradors & Border Collies

Last year I had to find a home for a dog bred by these people. It needed rehoming because it had been sold to clueless first time owners with no idea of what raising a collie entails, the breeder did not do due diligence in ensuring the correct home. Any good breeder should take back a dog they have bred when the owners can't meet it's needs. When asked to take the dog back they refused, saying they had no space, yet they have space to keep breeding. The dogs are bred for fancy colours and nothing else. In the end the dog had to be put down (not by me). A life lost because of careless breeding. Avoid this breeder (greeder). They know nothing about collies and have no business breeding them, the dogs don't work, don't excel in any sport, they just make pretty colours, shameful.Always avoid breeders that breed for colour, avoid breeders who breed multiple unrelated breeds of dog, it may save you and a dog a lot of heartache.

I had 10 happy years with the best Labrador I could have wished for... sadly Milo (Holmlyne Sienna Beach) went over the rainbow bridge 18months ago. So yesterday I was ready to get another dog.... so returned to Holmlyne breeders and we have put a deposit on another gorgeous boy who will be ready to come home with us on 22/5/19. So excited! Also, My Milos dad is the new puppies grandad... so I’m sure he’ll be just as amazing as my old boy. XxxxxxThank you xxxxx Adele Holmes

We got our beautiful chocolate lab from Holmelyne 14 years ago. She was gentle, playful, loving, intelligent and a gorgeous dark chocolate to the end (with a little bit of grey). We lost her this weekend and are so, so sad. Thank you for the best girl ❤️

i would never ever buy a puppy from this place ever again does not care about her animals and breeds them for money in my opion she needs closed down when ur puppy becomes sick she will deny sellling it to you bad place to buy a animal from beware of this person

Erica is a lovely lady who thoroughly enjoys what does and cares about her dogs.Our Elsa the 8 week old border collie is an absolute delight and is settling in very well beautiful nature already and can see she has been well cared for highly reccommend Erica

Lovely, happy dogs: we have a border collie puppy who has the loveliest temperament, as do her parents (we met both on several occasions) - great if you want a collie as a loving, friendly family pet
