One star is one too many for this place. I paid 4000 for a total shed, I know I was buying a cheap car but that was all I could afford. Dave is a classic guy of talking the talk...it will all get sorted . Not. They had the car back 2 days after I payed full price, then this was going on back and forth for the whole of my warranty. Anyway end result I drove away for the last time. Car has had same issues for the last 5 months of having it and just left it like that as whats the point sending a car back for them to patch it up and send back in the same state. Gutted that I believe they were a decent place. But thats my fault as it was put in different wording. Thank you to Dave and your no good boss for the rip off. Glad you sleep at night. By the way, it was not small repairs you was fixing it and used all my warranty doing so. No offer with extending, I like how you make the car problem sound like I've had a nearly a year but it is not. Bought it November, and you were still working on in in February. You can right whatever you like. You will get caught out some day.

Bought a car from SBM last month and part exchanged my old car in a smooth sale. Unfortunately I noticed a fault with the car that was unknown to Craig (owner) at the time of sale. He offered to fix it for me as it was still under warranty but I decided to hand the car back after 2 weeks and asked for a full refund. My full refund was paid within 14 days, no hassle, no arguments and Craig and Dave were really helpful. Very professional, I would definitely buy from them again.

Bought a car that turned out to be a pup.After less than 30 miles the engine management light came on & it went into limp mode. Checked the car and there was no oil in it. Was told by the salesman that he'd checked everything himself that day. Filled the oil & left it overnight, no leak found so no idea where all the oil went hmmmm!No argument when I said I wanted a refund but made me wait the fullest amount by law that was allowed (14 days).

I bought a used Skoda at the end of last year. The car had an electrical problem with the drivers side window which I was told would be fixed and the car pout through its MOT. This had to wait until the new year which was obviously fine. I picked up the car as soon as possible the following week and it became apparent once I had it home that the electrical issue hadn't been fixed. The car was returned and I was assured all the stops would be pulled out to get an auto-electrician to fix it by the end of the week.This electrician didn't start until the following week (late than promised) and at the end of that week it was apparent that my car wouldn't be fixed any time soon (new part) so I returned to borrow a pool car. I was given the grottiest Ford KA I've ever seen. I kept this for a further two weeks at which point I had to drive back to their premises to get a bigger pool car that I could fit my child's seat in to.Soon after I was told my car was now fixed (it wasn't) so I went and collected it. One of the interior panels was not clipped back in to place and stopping the driver seatbelt from retracting properly, also there were dirty finger marks on the interior that weren't there previously. I didn't bother flagging this with them as I managed to fix the interior panel myself and I was just pleased to finally be driving my car. However a few weeks later I noticed that the window they claimed to have fixed does not actually wind all the way down, so either they ordered the wrong part or installed it incorrectly (drivers window mechanism)Additional they somehow managed to give my details incorrectly to the DVLA so 4 months later I'm still trying to sort out getting hold of my V5C. The DVLA can't tell me what details were given just that they were invalid. I checked the invoice and my details are written down correctly, however when the guy at SBM read it back to me he got the house number wrong, so I suspect maybe he misread his own handwriting. I asked him to hone the DVLA and find out what happened several times but have given up trying to chase him now.Overall a very stressful and dissatisfying consumer experience. It was only a cheap car so maybe they try harder if you buy something a bit more flash, but overall I wish I'd gone somewhere else.

Very friendly service today. I wanted to drive away same day but owner insisted on putting mot on and his team to give car once over for everyone peace of mind. Most dealers would let you go on your way but they want to ensure everything is done correctly. Also not pushy and also very patient with two of my kids in tow. Great service.
