Gorgeous cafe that serves lovely coffee and the best scones ever!! Friendly, welcoming staff that are happy to help :) really nice music, decor and they are well heated! Tea is on the weaker side. But otherwise couldn’t recommend the scones and coffee more!!

We stayed overnight on Sheep Street and stumbled upon this lovely shop while in search of coffee and breakfast. The Davenford Garden did not disappoint. We ordered 4 different coffees and all were perfectly served. The 3 bacon and leek quiches were amazing- fresh from the oven, with a flaky crust and light and creamy filling. They were accompanied by a refreshing green salad and delicious crisps. We also sampled a plain and an almond croissant. Both were ultra flaky, buttery, and melt in your mouth delicious!Prices are well displayed and very reasonable. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating. What a treasure!!!!

Perfectly located in the heart of Stow on the Wold. The service is exceptional, the host is stunning and made me feel right at home. Rooms are spacious and they offer a stable internet connection making it perfect if you need to work remotely.

Found this lovely little place today. Sat outside and enjoyed a coffee and a huge slice of carrot cake! Lovely and moist. I would say it missed a few walnuts or pecans tho. But still 10/10 Service was great v friendly staff. See u soon again.

Decided to use the coffee shop here out of the few in town. Looked cosy and pleasant atmosphere.I opted for Carrot cake and coffee, I use that as a personal baseline for coffee shops. My partner had soup of the day.The coffee was nice and up to good standard. The carrot cake was generous and looked and tastes like it was hand made. However, it had too much cream along with the topping which made it very sweet, do much so,I couldn't finish it and was craving something savoury. I've had well made carrot cake in two other outlets before and neither was overpowered with cream. What was worse was it was an eye watering £5.95 a slice !It's disappointing that a lot of places feel the need to jump on the band wagon with excessive prices. However nice the place is, I can't recommend it. Judging by the other menu items (£8 for soup), this is geared toward the tourists that arrive in coaches, not UK tourism.Choose with care what place you take lunch or tea/coffee in Stow.

Called in here twice on our afternoon visit to Stow on the Wold it was so good, first visit we had cream teas, which where absolutely delicious, light fluffy warm scones with jam and clotted cream and lovely cast iron pts of tea, second visit called back in on our way home, all had the carrot cake, Hugh portions and so moist, once a gain absolutely delicious, also very friendly service and great value for money, recommended you try here if ever in town.

Lovely little cafe in a beautiful part of the uk, we stayed for lunch, which was a very tasty homemade soup with tasty fresh bread and butter, and we managed to have a piece of gorgeous coffee and walnut cake for dessert…we just couldn’t resist. So go enjoy their menu it’s well worth it.

Coffee was nice but bacon & egg bap was terrible. Cold slightly stale roll, spread (not even butter!) bacon and a microwaved poached egg, served on a narrow wooden tray so egg yolk went absolutely everywhere.Sainsbury’s turned up with the weekly order whilst we were there so definitely not artisanal as claimed on the door! Caters mostly for tourists by the looks of things.
