It is a place of worship. A Catholic church. I love the service. They run a food bank on Mondays and Thursdays.

This church has links to local schools, St Gregory's and St Joseph's where the farther visits on religious occasions. It's ok real boring for the kids though. Nice Christmas mass with carol concerts held at the schools

Not for the first time, the parish priest has a poster displayed giving the name and contact details of a Safeguarding Representative who is no longer in position. Quite why this should be necessary I don't know, other than without him in position, St. Anne's (merged with St. Austin & St. Gregory a few years ago) has NO Safeguarding Representative. Not exactly ideal sadly.

St Austin & St Gregory Church
A beautiful church, with a lovely parish community. Liturgically varied - the 5pm Saturday Vigil Mass is quiet, 9:30am Sunday Mass is sung (with choir and organ) and the 11:30am Mass is Traditional Latin Mass with plainchant. Tea & coffee after the Sunday Masses... Something for everyone!
