Durley House Swim School

My son Jamie was super afraid of the water to the point that he wouldn't let go of an adult in the pool. Having done a year of swimming elsewhere with very little improvement, he started lessons here with Aimee and in this first term, he has grown massively in confidence and loves the water. This is his favourite thing to do each week and he tells everyone how he can't wait to go swimming with Aimee. The confidence she has given him in such a short space of time is amazing.

Our daughter absolutely loves her swimming lessons at Durley House Swim School. All of the staff are fantastic - she has really grown in confidence thanks to their guidance and support. The weekly themes are lots of fun, too.I’m so glad we found such a lovely swim school for her. I would definitely recommend.

Durley house is brilliant fully recommend the team were all so friendly. Jo was there to do the meeting and greeting she made us feel so welcome.Vicky the instructor was awesome she understood our autistic child really well using signs and helping him to regulate his excitement, very calm and patient.A lovely place we with comfy chairs and cold water for the spectators.We will definitely be going back again.

My 3 yr old absolutely loved the half term swim course at Durley House and still asks to go back months after. It was incredible to see her progress each day and how much confidence she gained by the end of the week. All the staff were so lovely, welcoming and great with all the kids regardless of their abilities. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter has had the best time at Durley Swim School this bank holiday weekend! Vikki was amazing with all the babies and it felt like a more personal touch than going to a big leisure centre. Everyone was so friendly and with seating all around, you really get a close up view of your little one splashing around! Can’t wait to come back!

Durley House is absolutely fantastic. Our son has come on more in a term than he had done in a couple of years at his previous lessons, despite good coaches. The difference at Durley is that all of the teachers take time to really get to know the children and respond to their unique needs. Our son lacked confidence in the water until James and Gary worked their magic. We now can’t keep him out of the pool. We also get regular progress reports which we really appreciate. We’re so glad we chose Durley House. It’s a fantastic swim school with amazing teachers.

Our daughter who is 3 years old really enjoyed the Exploere sessions.She was scared as it was her first time in the water but her teacher Vicky was an excellent and soon put her at ease with lots of encouragement and singing of nursery rhymes to match the activities which were all imaginative and themed.At the end of the second weekend of sessions she was using a float, kicking and giggling away :-)She is so proud of her medal and certificate too!I would recommend Durley Swim School to any parents considering a safe and supportive environment for their children to take their initial steps into a swimming pool.

The team at Durley House Swim School are great. Our son has completed his second holiday course and the difference in his water confidence is noticeable. The instructors are patient and engaging with children. They also go the extra mile to ensure those children lacking in confidence feel comfortable and not pressured.We have already arranged for regular swimming lessons for the autum term and are looking forward to seeing our son's progress by the end of it.The booking process is very easy and the email contact is swift, particularly if you have any questions or queries.

My daughter has just finished a week summer class at Durley swim school and she has absolutely loved it!! It’s a wonderful venue, where everyone is incredibly friendly and makes you feel instantly at ease. The personal attention and touches make such a difference and it shows as once the week course was completed I have now signed her up to regular swimming lessons. Would highly recommend!
