Very friendly and helpful staff helping to select the best product for us from a huge selection.The install was difficult but the builders were great.The fire was in 3 weeks from visiting the shop.Recommended.

I managed to fall lucky at the Fireplace Factory & Stove Centre by picking up a very reasonably priced ex-display fire for our new media wall. Although an ex-display, it was in excellent condition and in full working order. I collected the fire myself but was assisted by staff in getting it safely packed into the car. An all round good service, great product and a simple transaction/process.

I ordered a Gazco electric fire to replace an old wall mounted gas fire. This was to provide a feature in the lounge and an alternative heat source.The advice on options from David and his staff was first class. The quotation and pricing was clear with no 'sales pressure'.Planning and communication for installation was straightforward.The work by installers Roy and Dan to decommission the old gas fire and to rebuild the chimney breast to take the new electric fire was excellent. A dirty job was completed to a very high standard with the absolute minimum of mess.Likewise the plastering by Baz and Scott was excellent too and carried out in a very tidy manner.In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase and dealings with the Fireplace Factory & Stove Centre Sheffield and their subcontractors.

Having visited the shop with quite well defined views of what we wanted, thanks to the advice given by David, we chose a completely different stove, which is much better suited to our needs. The process to get the stove installed was arranged for us, which included removing an old gas fire, erecting scaffolding, sweeping the chimney, adding a new lintel, cleaning the old bricks and plastering the chimney breast. A slight stove issue was quickly remedied by David who visited on his day off and he patiently went through some best practise tips for getting the most out of our stove. We love the stove and are really pleased that we picked the Fireplace Factory.

Great service and customer care from the first time you walk in the door. Absolutely no pressure or rush - the team take you through the process step by step to ensure you have the right stove for your room in the setting you want.After initial survey at home, the appointment at the shop is excellent and you are taken through in detail to make sure that you get want you both want and need. Pricing is clear and itemised.Good communication about fitting and they did a brilliant, tidy job. We opted to have no surround and have the bricks restored in the recess. Pictures show stove in situ following fitting - still needs decorating and new carpet. (Lights in recess are an Amazon purchase of rechargeable magnetic lights and not part of the fit)Really please with the outcome and would definitely recommend.
