I have been with my youngest son because he had big migraines all the time. He is 11 now and we start going 3 years ago. They were so big that even with medication the pain was so big that he was crying. Went with him 3 times for the same reason and every time they said that it is perfectly normal for a child to have headaches . And just give him paracetamol and ibuprofen.

Stay away from this health centre, very unprofessional and rude team of people, from Dr’s to receptionists. STAY AWAYSorry can’t put my feelings across to you by email. I rang MPHC if I could make F2F appointment with the H/C manager, to discuss my issues, Never heard back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Such unbelievably bad service that I have gone through the considerable effort of changing to a different practice. Constant errors, rude doctors and receptionist, poor advice, huge waits to be seen, and they entirely ignore patients concerns or suggestions. A genuine embarrassment to the NHS. If you take your health seriously, and want to be taken seriously, go elsewhere. I will not miss this practice at all.

I called in the morning to get an appointment for my child because of a reoccurring severe gastroenteritis which the surgery had already advised about 3 weeks ago. Admin was thorough and understanding and we had an apt really fast (3 stars). GP who saw my child didn't seem to listen, dismissed the fact that this was not the first week of problematic symptoms and she was asking my daughter to do the same as she had been told to do 3 weeks before. No meaningful tests related to symptoms were scheduled. GP showed as that we patients know nothing of course and we can just wait till it's unbearable or more problematic. Back to square one.

I brought my eight-week old son here today to get his first set of vaccinations, and the nurse who was going to inject him explained she had a head cold, but it isn't COVID and my mask will protect your baby". Given how serious and potentially life-threatening colds and RSV can be for young babies

Absolutely appalling service, you spend 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone then they tell you that you have to go through a triage system. That's all automated. Today I had an appointment with the nurse who gave brilliant service. I tried to book an appointment with my G.P at the desk when leaving to be told I can't do that, I need to phone up. When there was 1 person in the surgery waiting. If you phone up now you should get straight through I was told. So I did and informed them I was in the reception area. Again to be told our triage team will contact you today. I received a text saying a doctor will phone me in 2 weeks to discuss, kind regards. I'm sure the doctors and nurses work to the highest standards, but the practice is awfully run.

This surgery is a disgrace can never get in contact with them and even when you do it appears impossible to get anywhere. Can’t get appointments or repeat prescriptions even when I had a broken toe a couple years ago they told me it was fine then after a couple months I had to go hospital and found out it was broken and had to wear a boot for 6 weeks. The service is terrible

Very poor service. Receptionist could not have been less interested yet you have to tell them everything so they can decide if you need to speak to a doctor. Recipe for disaster I think. Phone takes ages to be answered. Doctor I ended up seeing was blunt and insensitive.

My father has been on medication for his pain for the past blank years. Since dr Mark Collyer has been his GP, my father is no longer allowed to take pain relief at times when he in pain. He tried calling Dr Collyer, and became flustered and upset due to his pain, he passed the phone to me so that I could calmly explain the issue, and Dr Collyer’s hung up on me without any explanation. When I tried to call back, he accused my father and I of being aggressive, and refused to talk to us. My father is still in agony and Dr Collyer’s appalling attitude shows his disregard to those with chronic conditions. Neither I nor my father have ever been treated so poorly by a doctor.11/12/2023 Merry early xmasLittle update been having issues with my fathers meds again and when i tried to call and have a conversation but the receptionist was abhorrently rude on the desk before i could ask questions after she verbally bashed me down the phone like gospel she hung up on me, i tried calling again and asked to have a conversation without her hanging up on me she continued to verbaly bash down the phone that its not the doctors surgerys problem and its the pharmacy, once this lady had finsihed speaking i asked her if i could now speak and that i expect her to treat me as a human being and to talk to me like a human as she was quite abusive down the phone to me. she accused me of been rude for aksing to be spoken to like a human being and proceeded to hang up on me. pretty poor show patient now without heart medication and blood thinners for a week, who is responsible hear the surgery or the pharmacy either way the communication has broken somewhere and when trying to plug that bridge you are met with resistance from skelton staff who clearly do not have person centred care at the forefront of their practcie when answering calls from patients. steer clear in the PM your better of talking to a wall when the this lady is on the phone lines in the pm5:30-5:55PM please deal with your rude reception staff accusing a patient of screwing there meds up not person centred!!! i will be in touch in the coming days!!
