Sarah's Pasty Shop
We ordered gluten free pasties from here on Monday to be picked up today (Wednesday). We were not disappointed my daughter who is allergic to wheat and me being Ceoliac. Wow.... they are truly the best pasties we have had in Cornwall. The look on my 14 year old daughter was amazing. Thank you and we will be returning next year. Xxxx

This shop makes the best steak pasty out of the 3 that I have tried. The filling is very flavorful, the meat is tender and you can feel the potatoes and onions. A bit salty, that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. It's served piped hot so I'll take a good 15 minutes before it starts cooling down. £4.5 for it which is standard around town but this one is big enough to challenge other shops' large pasty" for a price of £5.50. good value"

Good selection but not good on eating we had two different flavour pasties and both not nice at all, mine was meat had no flavour no seasoning, the same for my wife’s, and the pastry was can’t describe was like eating cardboard with dusted flour on waste of money was told this was the best place for pasties well I wouldn’t say that! ginsters are better even though I don’t like them have more flavouring

Having read so many good reviews of Sarah's pasties my wife and I had to try them . I had a traditional and my wife a vegetable pasty . The filling was spot on but unfortunately there was far too much salt in both of them which totally ruined the taste .I have been back to Sarah's pasties today and purchased a traditional for me and a cheese and onion one for my wife both of which were excellent , not at all salty so maybe you slipped with the salt previously

We've just really enjoyed 2 traditional pasties and they were the closest to my own I've ever had! Good chunks of skirt, lots of onion and great seasoning! Thank you, the wait was well worth it!

First, the Pasty shop:As most people say, this is the best Pasty Shop, it doesn't really matter what flavour you go for, you know it will be good. My wife grew up in Looe and even ~23 years ago when we were first dating she, as a former local, said it was was only place to go and it still is.Second, the Cake shop (separate building, but doesn't show up on maps - have suggested an edit to Google maps to make it easier to find):I've walk past this place loads of times, and admired the look of the cakes through the window, but not been in, not realising it was related to the Pasty Shop, this year however we were staying in Talland the week that coincided with both my wife's and daughters birthdays, so I got two cakes make to order, throughout the process they were really helpful, even when I made a last minute request for a change. Both cakes looked and tasted great! Thanks Ange and the rest of the team involved!

While holidaying in Cornwall I became suspicious of pasty shops all apparently selling the same are they frozen and just cooked in the shop? Sarah's was clearly made in the shop as I saw a lady emptying dough from a large mixing bowl. The lamb, leek, mint and rosemary pasties look incredible and tasted delicious real chunks of lamb. Safe to say the best pasty I've ever had.

Up there with the best!!!! Absolutely delicious pasties. Really great filling and they were really, really well filled. Excellent level of seasoning and the pastry was absolutely perfect. Golden, with just the right about of flake, but still strong enough to hold everything together. Delicious! A very strong contender for the best of the best. Make sure you get down to Looe to try one.
