Angela’s Swim School - Rochester

I paid for the term and did not receive any further information about how to get in to the school etc, I decided to just turn up to the first session and my child’s name wasn’t even on the list. The sessions were basically young staff just dragging my kid across the pool instead of her using her limbs. Armbands are mandatory but are a hinderance. We had 4 lessons cancelled on us due to multiple reasons and refused a refund at £15 a lesson! Absolute joke of a company. Abs impossible to get hold of. They ignore your emails (the only way to contact them) yet the send you a promotional text every day and emails multiple times a day asking you to buy this, that and the other! Just after money! Lessons are useless.

Absolutely terrible company, total rip off. They pressure you into paying “Class terms” well in advance and then when COVID happened kept everyone’s money and won’t give any refunds even tho the pools are closed and not even open. They say it’s in there terms and conditions not to give refunds. What kind of company does this. I would stay well clear of anything to do with them unless you want to be ripped off. Just look at there google rating and there instagram page and see for yourself.

The staff were good. Just the site is really outdated and filthy.

I’ve always had the philosophy to say nothing at all if I’ve got nothing good to say. But on this occasion for the sake of other parents, best I say something. My experience with Angela swimming school has been completely disgusting. They cancel swimming sessions at the time of turning up for classes, change instructors without prior warning and don’t really see their students as a person, just another class session. I also felt discriminated against from their behaviour. If you have an option for other swimming schools I’ll go for that. Can’t be worse than what you get with Angela’s. This happened at cobham hall btw.

My son swam here with Angela's school for a couple of terms and really enjoyed it. The teacher was great and he got a lot from the lessons. I've just started taking adult lessons with the school too.
