Newnham Park

This was the 4th time we’d booked a family clay pigeon shooting lesson with David at Newnham Park and as ever, it was superb. We had myself and my wife plus 3 teenagers, one of which hadn’t shot before so there was a wide spread of experience. David made sure each of us got dedicated advice and made it fun yet rewarding. We never felt any pressure to speed up and had a great variety of shots to test our skills. Everyone enjoyed the “rabbits” although I especially loved the really high clays deep in the trees. Great locations to shoot from, great fun and top-notch tuition. We’ll be making it part of our Devon holiday next year. If you’re stuck for something to do on your holiday, just book this, you won’t be disappointed.

Booked for partner and son, absolutely outstanding afternoon, instructor was amazing with my son, both extreme novices but came away hitting a few clays each, will definitely go back.

Had a great time at the clay shoot at Newnham Park. Our instructor David understood our needs very well which allowed us to learn a lot about what we could improve upon and make the experience more enjoyable. We look forward to visiting again in the future and we would highly recommend this for anyone interested.

Great x country event

We have as a family and as treats for our boys been to shoot here on various occasions. What I really love is the excellent tuition that we have received from each instructor. David and his team are true gentleman, who are good tutor's, where health and safety is always paramount. He was happy to play along with our competitive family and provide the support and confidence we needed to hit that clay. Looking forward to many more visits. Brilliant and wonderful location.

It's a nice little piece of nature on the edge of Plympton overgrown and nature has taken over with many good spots for campfire or nights under the stars

We went to Newnham Park for a stag event and had a great afternoon. David was an excellent instructor and the whole experience was first class. We went for the £89pp option which we thought was great value, with a great competitive element to it. Highly recommended!

Took the Mrs for a shooting lesson for her birthday, she loved it! Really friendly and a genuine interest to make sure we learned something and had a great time with no clock watching. Really pleased I booked in this place.
