This Independent living accommodation is excellent. It allows older people to live in a safe environment with three meals (one hot)a day provided for. At 10:30 the residence are encouraged to meet in the dinning room and chat, lunch is at 12:30 again everyone eats together and evening light tea is either a picnic tea or something like soup etc. residence can go in the garden or even into town as long as they tell the staff where they are going. The rooms are larger than most homes and nicely decorated, perhaps not as clean as I would like but that is secondary as the staff are all amazing, compassionate, caring and encouraging. The only negative note I heard was that a few residents do not like the long weekends with no staff around, although everyone is given and wears an alarm in case of an emergency. All in all I give this a five star rating based on the staff and can recommend, to top it all in my opinion it is brilliant value for money.
