A great dog friendly cafe in St James which also adds a touch of style to your get together or coffee catch up. Staff are very friendly and the cakes are fantastic at affordable prices.

First time in here for breakfast. What a lovely cafe. I have a four cheese toastie which is the best I’ve ever had. So much cheese. The flat white was fantastic as well. Decor great and chilled / modern / clean.

The service, the quality of the food and drinks, the cleanliness of the place is something big named coffee places should aspire to be like. Jason is an absolute legend in how he treats his customers and make me and my family always feel welcomed. I can't recommend enough.

Nice selection of vegan cakes, and they've always had a choice of several, every time I've been. Tea and coffee are good, better than the average. Staff friendly, and the toilet is clean. It's pleasantly cool inside when it's hot outside, so it's a nice stop-off if you're walking past in the heat.

I was a regular here, recommending to everyone until i've had two unpleasant experiences. The first was on bank holiday where the young lad was so snooty, we spent £40 on breakfast and he couldn't even say please or thank you. Clearly hungover and in a grump- which i can understand so i returned. Second was with my 3 month old, having a really tough day and thought i'd stop by for a coffee to cheer myself up. The whole cafe was empty apart from one elderly lady sat down, her chair was blocking the only route to the counter, I was desperately struggling with my pram to get through while the two staff members who were stood around doing f all watched with miserable faces, didn't offer a hand. Eventually after a good few minutes with no help feeling completely embarrassed due to them constantly staring and pulling awkward faces at meI decided to just leave. No one offered to just take my order from where i was stood, which would've been easy for them to do, they just watched me struggle and glared whilst doing it. It's a shame to be honest as some of the staff here are so lovely. All i wanted was to get a coffee and take a stroll to help my day along but i could've done without the embarrassment and being made to feel like i shouldn't have been there. Very strange considering it is mostly empty.

Enjoyed a decent breakfast here recently, good value for money and the service was lovely. Albeit slightly slow but it seemed to be just 1 person doing everything on their own and we weren't in any rush! The eggs were slightly overdone on both the eggs Benedict and the breakfast wrap but it wouldn't put us off going again as it was good prices! We had great coffee and a milkshake to go which was really tasty. A nice addition to this area of town, would recommend!

This coffee shop is truly a hidden gem. My family and I absolutely love it. Can't recommend it highly enough 1,000 + stars. The Barrista is just amazing, so friendly and courteous, makes you feel so welcome. The sort of place you get so relaxed you almost forget to leave. The food is lovely and tasty. Homemade cakes, yummy. Dog friendly, what more could you want. Downside is parking, but we can always find a space around the back. I kept seeing the cafe and thinking I must pop in, but because I couldn't see where to park I didn't. One day my daughter invited me to meet her there. So glad she did. Its truly my favourite place now. Thank you Coffee Press .
