Dealing with City Motors (Volvo specialist) in Bristol was a such a refreshing experience from stat to finish.The salesperson Will Muller was very attentive and supportive, without making me feel pressured into the sale - and he was informal, but not over familiar, which I personally like and appreciate.Even post sale, Will has continued to offer the same level of prompt and courteous support.I think a lot of other garages (and business in general) could learn from this level of customer service, where I was made to feel that my interest and questions were important - and just getting a car sold to me...!Thanks to Will and the good people (not forgetting Liam) at City Motors.

Recently part exchanged my previous car from city motors with them today! Had absolutely no idea what car I wanted but I had a budget and few things that were essential for me on a vehicle. On my first initial conversation with Liam over the phone, he was great, took all my information and kept me up to date daily with options. When I went to look and test drive a few cars, Liam was extremely helpful and not “sales person pushy” in anyway at all - it was a really pleasurable process, found a car that was suitable for me and within my budget.I can not fault Liam’s customer service in anyway, he was professional, helpful, friendly and patient. Thank you, I look forward to dealing with you again.

Both my wife & myself were more than impressed by the Service provided by City Motors.This was a big purchase for us & Mo dealt with the whole process in a very honest & professional manner, with minimal fuss. We never at any stage felt rushed or pressured in anyway. We will also be using the City Motors Service Facility to maintain our Volvo X40 .Going forward, we fully intend to return to City Motors for any future car purchases.We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mo directly for his stewardship with the purchase of our new X40 which we are delighted with.

Car was booked in for a while you wait fix at 11. I was pointed to the cafe at Sainsburys to wait on but settled for the luxury of the Carco service lounge". After 50 mins my car still hadn't moved. Once finally someone decided to look at it the fix took around 2 mins as expected. Not a great experience for a dealer supposedly seeking a high end experience to compete with Lexus or Audi...."

What a refreshing and genuinely enjoyable buying experience!From the moment I called and spoke to Salesperson Will, I was immediately impressed with his approach and, when I arrived I was welcomed into the dealership and presented with the V60 that I was there to view. It was my first real look-around a Volvo and Will's knowledge was superb but without being overbearing. I enjoyed an unhurried inspection of the car before being invited to take it for a test drive during which time Will and his team valued my PX. Upon return, the initial figures had been calculated and I was presented with a no-nonsense quotation to change my car. Will was very accommodating with some of my requests to secure the deal and as such, we did so on the day. 3 days later the car was delivered to me in Birmingham and my old car driven away. The whole experience, before, during and after the purchase has been wonderful and based on my experience, I would not hesitate in recommending City Motors Volvo to my friends.Most importantly for me, when Will or his colleagues said they would call, find an answer to a question or price an accessory, they did without fail - not once did I have to chase them.Keep it up, - this is what great customer service is about!Cheers guys,Adam J (V60 RDP)

REDEMPTION: I bought my Volvo in April this year, we travelled from Cumbria to buy it. The car was not even charged when i picked it up. I had a couple if issues with the car within a week or so of collecting it. The salesman we dealt with would not return my calls or emails. When i finally managed to speak to him he was not very helpful. Told me to take it to my local Volvo dealer.After about 6 weeks I recieved a letter from City Volvo telling me my car is due a service and I should book it in. I was very annoyed that I hadn't been informed when I bought the car that it would need a service so soon if I had I would have negotiated it in the deal.I contacted City Volvo and told them that the service had never been discussed at the sale. They informed me that the salesman I had dealt with has now left the business. As a gesture of good will they agreed to service my car free of charge and a date was set for me to bring the car in.A couple of weeks later and before the service had been done I noticed paint peeling off the front bumper. Again I was very annoyed by this latest issue as the car was not even 12 months old at the time.I sent photos of the faulty area to City Volvo. At first I was told it was because of an impact had damaged the paint and that is why it was flaking off and there was a reluctance to repair it.However once the sales manager James Webb came back from holiday and got hold of my emails there was an instant response for the better.I took my car in for the arranged service and was given a courtesy car for a week while the checked the body work issue. City Volvo body shop confirmed that the issue was a previous poor repair before they obtained the car.James agreed to have the front panel repainted and even repaired a small scuff I had done myself free of charge.We all make mistakes and as a businesses City Volvo in my opinion did in this instance by letting a person deal with their customers when he was leaving and clearly had no interest in his job anymore.City Volvo have redeemed themselves in the way they have dealt with those mistakes and put things right. I would have no hesitation in dealing with them next time I change my car.

Purchased my 2017 Volvo XC60 from City Motors in January this year following some excellent support and guidance from Liam who was always on hand with a quick reply to any of my (many) questions. In my view, the customer experience was superb, Liam was professional, friendly and patient, so I was left feeling confident in my choice and really pleased with the car. 5 months on and nothing has changed, absolutely love the car, a great example and a dream to own/run. Thanks again to Liam and City Motors for the assistance, highly recommend to anyone in the market for a higher end second hand Volvo.

Yesterday I picked up a sweet little used Volvo V40 Cross Country from this garage and I am delighted with the car and with the outstanding service I received. I had researched here there and everywhere and had spoken to at least 10 dealers /garages and City Motors were far and away the most helpful and diligent. My first calls were with Mo who was exceedingly polite and helpful, sending me a video he himself took of the car. He went on annual leave and not only set up all necessary details for his colleagues Will and Liam to help me when he was off, but even contacted me to check all was ok, even though he was on leave. My contacts with Will and Liam were equally great, Will explaining more details about the vehicle, it's history and so on. I am one very happy customer and if I lived near Bristol which I don't (90 miles away) I would certainly use them for all future servicing. Buying a vehicle was a little scary for me (first time ever) but Mo and Will put my mind at rest - genuinely - not in a 'sales patter' way.

I bought my Mercedes A class from the guys at City Motors independent Volvo specialists this week. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I got a brilliant deal on the car and I’m very happy with it. I wanted to say a special thanks to Liam the sales executive, he made me feel extremely welcome and wasn’t pushy with me. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I always receive excellent service from the team at City Motors. They are welcoming, friendly and communicate very clearly re. any work that needs to be done and the costs involved. This week Rich and Seb went out of their way to help me. I was on my way to Kent for a training course and tried to fill my car up with diesel in the nearby Sainsbury's but the nozzle wouldn't go in. I drove over to City Motors where Rich and Seb immediately assessed the problem and fixed it for me within 30 minutes. Coincidentally my annual service was booked in for today (the same week!). As always, great service, get comms and a lovely clean car. I'm a very happy customer!
