Excellent practice! Where not only the physical needs of our pets are looked after, but also the emotional state! My 10 year old GSD does not like people “prodding him” and he does grumble his dislike. But all the staff respect that it’s because he’s unsure etc and they do not push him into what he doesn’t need.We recently lost our 9 year old GSD and the practice couldn’t have been nicer!So to summarise, not only do the staff look after all animals, physical and emotional needs, they are also excellent with the owners anxiety over our furbies! Avoid this place!Took our girl here up until 2021, in that time our girl had an ear infection that was dealt with by an agency vet (according to the practise after questioning and a few visits).. They gave us ear drops for her that led to her Completely losing her hearing on day 2 of taking these. We took her back twice to be told they were working and doing what they needed and to give it a week. Went back a third time to see the senior vet who told us she wasn't deaf until he took her into the room and we could hear him clapping for reactions. He told us she has ruptured ear drums and the drops shouldn't have been given and he hadn't got the detailed notes to go off.. And it was the agency vet on duty.. Then proceeded to tell us that she's on long term steroids which we knew but had no idea what the side effects were as we went off the vets advice for what was needed. He stereotyped us instantly as if to assume we wouldn't pay the more money for better medication (we instantly switched to this as she was our baby and would pay anything) anyway they then sent us a bill for making her deaf.. I was not paying that for letting down our girl and her health and they let it go (thankfully). She never got her hearing back but luckily she was clever enough to adapt to hand signals quickly.. She's now passed away and we have never got over the mistreatment of her at this practise and it still bothers us we didn't take this further.
