Had a damaged double glazing unit on existing windows. I was given a great price for the new glass and was offered a service on the window brackets, handles etc again at a great price.Russell and David came round fitted the new glass and adjusted the window frames as some had slipped through time, oiled the hinges brackets handles. Now the windows all work perfectly.Great job thanks very much.

I had worked in the industry myself previously and I was really impressed by the knowledge and experience the owner has in picking and advising me on which is the best widow and door for my property based on the current standards. I would recommend the company and the service provided was very friendly and helpful. There is good selection of doors and windows on offer.

Fantastic service throughout, quote given immediately and very reasonably priced. New glass expertly fitted in patio door, Russell noticed our other door was not opening easily, fixed that and then noticed drainage point wasn't correct, fixed that too and would not take a penny extra. Perfection ......After much research, I contacted Southside Window Systems for an estimate. I was contacted within the hour and Russell the owner came to my home to measure up and give me a price. This took approximately 30 mins. I had read horror stories of some companies being in customers homes for hours but this is not the case with Southside. The work was completed today and I am absolutely delighted with it. The window fitters, Owen and Graham, were polite, professional and extremely hard workers. They also cleaned up after themselves. The job they have done is first class. The entire process from contacting this firm to the completion of the job has been smooth and stress-free. The quality and workmanship have been second to none and the price was very competitive. I am an extremely happy customer and can fault them on nothing, I have no hesitation in recommending this company as they are a breath of fresh air in a minefield of cowboys and con men. Southside Windows (SW) installed 10 new windows in our house replacing tired old aluminium framed windows with new units. SW offered a wide range of styles and we were able to select the style that suited our requirements. The installation team arrived exactly when scheduled and carried out the work within the 2 days originally estimated. The team were obviously very experienced and carried out the work very professionally. In addition they were polite and very respectful of our home - they laid down dust sheets throughout the house before starting and tidied up at the end of each day’s work. The work was all carried out to the original estimate. The one minor issue I had with 1 window was sorted without question. The installed windows have greatly improved the look of our house. We are delighted with them and the service offered by Southside Windows.

Used this company last October for replacement double glazing and would definitely not recommend.Communication at sales/quotation was very poor, and they were not clear about the potential for damage that would end up being caused whilst replacing windows.The team who replaced the windows were asked if they wanted me to remove curtains/blinds etc but said it wasn't needed and then did it themselves causing damage to the blinds.They also left a lot of mess including an open bottle of highly dangerous chemicals in the house.There was substantial damage done (which may have been unavoidable) but they attempted bodge repairs, filling large holes in the plaster with silicon. When challenged a plasterer was arranged who then passed sandpaper to my partner and told them to give it a rub down when dry.External repairs were poorly completed and had to be called back.They invoiced for work that was not done.When they asked for remaining payment it took 8 months to confirm it had been completed but have chased payment immediately.

Excellent, quick and easy to get quotation, then only took a few weeks to get all windows ordered and made up which was surprising as it was the whole house getting done as well as a bespoke larger window. The fitters themselves were also excellent and got the job done very efficiently, even in the middle of winter. Very happy with the look and quality and the whole process. We had timber sash windows but went for PVC. They were able to do white on the inside and cream outside to keep the look of the house.
