Lucky Garden Fish & Chips Chinese Takeaway

We went here for the very first time tonight and I ordered chicken in black bean sauce with peppers and fried rice, my partner ordered satay chicken with fried rice which was very spicy, so be warned, if you like spicy food. Good portions and delicious. We would recommend this little gem to anyone

1st time ordering from Lucky Garden, Birkdale. Very impressed and will order again. Had mixed combo starter, chicken satay skewers, noodles, rice, chips, chicken black bean and; sweet & sour. All very tasty. Came within the hour as promised, hot and fantastic driver social distancing.

Ordered fish and peas absolutely disgusting fish was almost raw and smelled like it was off third time this has happened never order from them again

I love a good Chinese, been shopping around for a while and finally found somewhere that is consistently delicious. I have had sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper chicken, crispy shredded duck, crispy shredded chicken, sausages, fried rice, bbq sauce, salt and pepper chips to name a few.All where by far the best I have had in Southport. Nothing swimming in watery sauce, the sauce is thick, not over done, the veg is done nicely meaning your chicken still has that crispiness when it arrives. I have not tried the beef as not my usual go to. However I have not been disappointed with any aspect of their menu.I am so glad I have found this place. The meat is of good quality too, definitely prepped and stored correctly unlike some other places. I intentionally made sure to order several times before preaching this place to friends.I have NEVER left a google review before, but this place deserves it. 10/10.

The best salt and pepper chips in Southport. Orderd the chips, crispy beef, fried rice and duck, all amazing. Great delivery time for a Saturday night too was here in half an hour.

My first experience at the Lucky Garden and wow it was the best Chinese food I've ever had in Southport. Delicious food, which was piping hot when delivered. I would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning. Punctual delivery, 40mins (as quoted by receptionist). Can't fault it at all. Very happy customer. Enjoy!

Genuinely surprised as I've had low expectations of takeaways in Southport or ainsdale area. However the food was a good price and came earlier than expected. There was a delivery charge of £1.80 but the food was hot and most of the dishes where surprisingly good. The chicken with ginger was amazing and I wasn't expecting it to be my favorite as I'm not a big fan of ginger but it had a good taste. Most of the dishes where not too gloopey and had a nice taste. The salt and pepper chicken was a little too salty for my liking that's why I'd say 4 stars and not 5. The duck and panacakes came with a lot of duck and was hot and tasty. I'd recommend of you want a Chinese you try this place out.

The order was forgotten and we had to ring the takeaway they said the order would be delivered in 15 minutes, we ended up waiting an hour and a half for the delivery. The food was good but the service was a lot to be desired. I would never order from here again, it took me a while to convince the takeaway I had placed an oder, totally unacceptable and I would never order again.

Absolute bobbins. Ordered at 18.30, arrived 21.05. Lots of false promises it was next". Driver left it on the doorstep outside

Well what can you say. Called in on way home Got order wrong had to go back . Cold tea rubbish .
