Wish Park Playground

Good facilities for younger kids which are closed off from dogs. Good range of play facilities. Cold day so the cafe was closed which was disappointing. Council were hard at work improving the football pitches - so hats off for that.

Good service, a little slow when it's busy, but nice food and hot beverages

Lovely, well kept park that is big enough for sports and dog walkers, with a separate, gated play area for kids. Can be busy during school times and at weekends. Cafe during the warmer months with outdoor seating and a range of hot and old foods and drinks.

Lovely playpark, re-done in 2022. Nice green area for play, public toilets and nice cafe. Only thing is parking... Permit only for an hour, so do look at the signs!

Nice enough park with large, flat recreation area and enclosed smaller children's play space with swings and the like. Cafe on the east side with limited outside seating. Good 'proper' coffee, refreshments, tasty snacks, cakes and ice creams.Downside is the toilets. Only two on the ladies side, both blocked up with toilet paper on my last visit. What isnt down the WC is decorating the floor. The wall fitting is all that remains of the soap dispenser and as far as I know it's been that way since pre Covid days. Just two cubicles is clearly insufficient for a park frequented by families with children ....that is without the addition of sports events held there. I couldn't see a toilet for disabled either- although there used to be one on the west side we are reliably advised by a notice that there's one about a quarter of a mile away- great if you're disabled or in a wheelchair and needing a pee. Just plain thoughtlessness on the part of those able peeps that plan such things.

Great community park, plenty of room for children and pets to run around. A safe and clean environment.

Quite a large park. Very utility rather than picturesque. Has a small playground for young kids. A pleasant cafe with outside seating. A small area encouraging wild fauna and flora to thrive. Not enclosed all sides.

Everyone there welcomed us with wise open arms .. what a treat to perform the circus for that diamond community
