I found Alisha to be very helpful, I ordered my son a birthday cake a day before his birthday, Alisha made it happen. The service was fantastic and to top it of, the birthday cake was delicious. I will definitely order my next birthday cake from Ayer Sidcup.

I ordered a 40th Birthday cake for my son 3 days before the Birthday and J Ayre still took my order and produced a wonderful chocolate cake with a design of Harlequins colours and Rugby balls on top. Everyone loved this gorgeous moist chocolate cake that was the best we ever tasted Thank you so very much J Ayre. X

I asked for carrot cake which had walnuts on. The person working here put in in the box with other cakes I ordered. Very dangerous for people who suffer nut allergies. Your food safety is shocking. Will be reported to the food standards agency

This food tastes and looks amazing, the staff are friendly and it's very reasonably priced, definitely a must visit, especially during holiday times, their themed stuff is amazing! The lady there called Alysha was very helpful, she should be employee of the month or manager in my view!

I was served by a very very pleasant young lady I think I heard her name as elysha not sure but very polite helpful and greet you with the most superb smile first time I have been in this bakery as I don't come from the area but il defiantly make the trip especially the bread and service from this young lady was outstanding and will defiantly recomend

Absolutely disgusted, I have been using Ayres for years, just had a colleage bring back a cheese salad french stick and this is what I got for the best part of £4 and they had only buttered 1 side, shameful

I bought a custom-made chocolate birthday cake from here and it was absolutely delicious. The staff are really friendly and clearly care about their cake designs. They made sure they understood exactly what I wanted and carried out the design perfectly. My friend also had a birthday cake made here a few weeks ago and that was just as good. Their doughnuts are also really yummy. There's often a queue of people out of the door of the bakery which is testament to the quality of their food.
