Disappointing service. I am an experienced derby skater who was keen to check out the shop as I am thinking about updating my rig. I was made to feel unwelcome from the get go. I was ignored multiple times, and when I asked a question I was patronised and then ignored again. I could not get out of there fast enough. Such a shame.

I have never felt the need to go anywhere else than Double Threat for my derby needs. All the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and patient - including over the phone and via email. I love you, DTS, will support you forever!

LOVE going to Double Threat Skates for all things roller derby and skating related. Staff are super helpful and knowledgable and the shop has a really friendly vibe. They also run some really good sales and discounts throughout the year- so definitely worth signing up to their email list to keep updated with these! 10/10 Highly recommend!

I traveled all the way to King’s Cross to buy protective gear. They didn’t have much options in store but that’s probably because they’re a small tiny business that doesn’t stock much. I didn’t want to get the bright pink or tiger print ones that were displayed and they didn’t have black ones or any adult appropriate ones.They did offer to order some into the store for me but would’ve taken a week and extra delivery charge which isn’t good enough. So I ended up going to Amazon which was cheaper and 2 day delivery.

They're fantastic!Seven years ago I turned up at Double Threat about an hour before closing on a Friday and said I'm starting derby tomorrow and I need everything. All the things. I have nothing. Excellent experience buying a new pair of skates for roller derby. The staff here have incredible knowledge. I wouldn't go anywhere else for skates!

Such a great little shop! Has everything you need for all types of skating, as well as super lovely and knowledgeable staff. I went in as a newbie derby skater and they helped me get the right stuff, and even put my skates together for me when I looked totally baffled.

Great job on new plates! Thanks to Double Threat for giving me excellent advice and fitting new plates to my Chaya boot. They did a great job and turned it around really quickly I'm so pleased.

Double Threat Skates is such a lovely shop to visit. Loads of lovely skate accessories, in house prints and I recently visited to get some new skates. I was asked all the right questions (budget, desired use etc) I learnt a few things too. Kat helped me with my fitting and was super patient even when I couldn't decide between two boots and tried them on so many times!
