Hatchet Harry's Axe Throwing Liverpool

Genuinely so much fun to do. We’d been thinking of coming for a while but hadn’t managed until tonight.It was absolutely fantastic. Jack was both an amazing host and a fantastic instructor constantly there watching and offering tips and technique advice during the whole session.Great atmosphere, music and just an overall fantastic experience. Would highly recommend booking a visit to the Liverpool one and we’ll definitely be back.

A Fun Experience!It was my first time axe throwing and me and my friends honestly didn’t expect to have so much fun. The staff are really friendly and knowledgable.Axe throwing at Hatchet Harry’s can be as competitive or relaxed according to your group’s desire. Our teacher, Alex, showed us different techniques to throwing the axe and there are also different axes to throw. Alex was super friendly & knowledgable, a credit to her for showing us the proper technique to axe throwing and trick shots.They also have a members club during the week which has a discounted price.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Hatchet Harry’s and my first experience axe throwing. I’d like to come back and I would recommend to others who want to try out axe throwing.

Axe throwing is great fun and the staff here are very welcoming. I'm mainly giving this a 3 star review because in comparison to other axe throwing places I have been to, I feel my group session here was lacking structure. We were shown how to perform a basic axe throw and then left to our own devices, potentially for the whole session. Progression tips or alternate throws were not offered and instead need to be requested on an individual basis, same for learning how the scoring system works for a friendly competition.In comparison, at other venues I have been to there is a clear structure for the session. You will start with a basic throw, each member will get a predetermined number of throws. Then you will be shown a different throw (e.g. progression up to double hand and under-arm). At the same time you are taught how the scoring system works for the targets and there will be a winner at the end of the session. There is even time built in at the end for you to have some free time and try out the throws you liked the most.It does seem from the website and other reviews that perhaps Hatchet Harry's does offer a similar structure but it was not the case in my group, and I am left unclear on the reason for the inconsistency. I think this place is probably good for a first time experience but perhaps other places offer better value.

It was fun at axe throwing! Booked it for my husbands birthday , our coach Andy was friendly and gave us some nice tips !They also have parking available for customers!

Great venue and activities for corporate events. Plenty of goes at chucking axes at targets and trying to get them to stay in! Alex and the team at Hatchet Harry’s Liverpool were brilliant coaches, encouraging everyone to participate and throw with better technique each time. Would recommend to anyone who fancies trying something quite different than the norm!

Great place for a stag activity Jack our instructor was amazing and made us feel welcome and confident as we had never done axe throwing before. He was great and really helped develop our technique and ran the competition and challenges. Thank you Jack for being the best!

My friend and I had a fantastic time at the 90 min session.Alex is a great coach and kept the entire session super fun, while making us feel safe wielding axes for the first time. The class set up is amazing and you really feel like you've covered a lot of ground after the first 90 min! We learned a few different throws, used a few different weight axes and it was overall just brilliant! Amazing value for the price! 10/10 for Alex's instructions and attention to detail!

I loved my axe throwing experience. The man who was working there was really friendly and helped me out getting me different axes cuz I was struggling a bit.He taught us 3 different throw styles and we all took turns and competed for the best score. Fab fun even if ya rubbish at it like me.

Had a brilliant time here with family for my husband 50th birthday 16/06/2023. Jack our instructor was superb with his instructions and friendliness.
