was ok. We went for a kids party, it was running late despite no one else being there. We had to find a member of staff for the bar to get a hot drink. The pizzas were late and poor quality. We had to ask for squash for the kids even though 25 minutes had passed when staff said they were going to get it. It wasn’t great tbh which is a shame. And it was freezing! The party area was really poor too, old office chairs and a bunch of mismatched table cloths. Wasn’t very “party” at all. Such a shame as the potential is really there.

It’s located in Oldbury not Birmingham, the venue also does go carting. Went for a party, the venue provides food and diluted drinks with a room. The boys really enjoyed the day

I booked a birthday party at the oldbury venue, on the 19th November 2023 at 3pm. The organisation and deliverance was woefully inadequate. This stemmed from the initial booking and continued throughout the delivery of the event. The initial booking was made in person at the venue, when the staff failed to take down my email correctly despite me spelling it out to them; because of this I didn't receive confirmation email and had to chase up the booking via the phone. I then phoned the venue a second time to preorder food and ensure everything was organised ahead of schedule. The day itself was unorganized, and an understaffed venue meant we were constantly left waiting, unsure of what was happening next. When we arrived the party space was not ready and we were left with 22 excited children to wait for over half an hour. The staff seemed unsure of what to do and sent half the party to wait in one area and the other half to wait in reception. When we were finally shown to our designated party area it had not been cleared from the previous party with a bag of rubbish having been left behind (We cleaned the party space!). It then consisted of us constantly chasing up the staff for juice and food. The pizza and chips arrived half an hour after the last game ended, then only 4 of the 8 pizza's arrived, we then waited for another ten minutes for a further 3 pizza's to arrive which had to be returned as they hadn't been sliced, and then the final pizza was undercooked, As a result of this most of our guests left without any food,When I initially went into the venue to book my son's birthday party I was told that the max capacity within the lazer tag room was 25, however on the day there were two parties occurring simultaneously. My son's birthday, with 22 guests and another with at least 8 children who were much older than our party, if I was aware the capacity was higher I would have invited more of my son's classmates. The gaps between the games lasted for about 20 minutes with no drinks available and 22 very excited children that were difficult to manage a smaller gap between games would have made the event far more successful,This was an expensive event that resulted in a significant breach of contract, with multiple safety risks, I have reached out to your customer care team directly who told me they would respond after completing an investigation over a week ago, I have since chased this twice for an update but have been ignored. I am incredibly disappointed!

Went for laser quest with my son and 2 nephews. There was only 4 of us in the stadium where as there was 20 in the next slot where they had combined the groups. I believe our experience would have been even better if they had put the smaller group with us. As this was an human error i have to look beyond it and say it was a very good place to take teenagers. It was value for money and fun and would have been twice as good if there were atleast 8 of us in the arena. We paid 9 pound a person for 3 x 15 min. Also i would have like it if we got emailed our results as they said they would.

All in all the kids enjoyed the party here but it does lack accessible food/drink and the downstairs area needs some attention. We would come again and hopefully they do a bit more work on the downstairs decor and facilities in future.Took my son to a friend's 7th birthday party here. The downstairs party room was lovely and cold...I often find kids entertainment spaces very warm and off-putting, so this was a blessing. If you don't like the cold, wear layers! :)The kids said they really enjoyed the laser tag, they certainly got their exercise! And no one appeared to be left out or too over zealous.. Nice to see them all in the spirit of the game.Food was well presented and plenty to go around. Basic, but that's what you need with kids! There was a space downstairs we sat in while the children played and ate upstairs (with limited space upstairs ... Some parents went up to help their children eat...we opted to leave them to it!)The downstairs area is a little sparse with all black walls and a party eating area consisting of a long table with what look like a lot of mismatched old office chairs. A little attention (some paint or posters, a tv maybe, some colourful accessories, set of matching chairs, etc) and I don't think this would take long to cheer up to be honest.I struggle with mobility so I didn't manage to get up the flights of stairs to find the food and drink but my daughter brought me a bacon bap and a slice of pizza and they were ok. Pretty expensive for basic items but at least you have the option. The draught coke was like water and was really expensive as were the bottles... Coming to around £15 for 3 drinks and a bacon bap! I believe they have breakfast sandwiches and cheese pizzas but I didn't see a menu anywhere downstairs so can't say what else they have.We had a 50 minute wait before the kids went upstairs to start their game and the party ended just under 2½ hours later. It was a long time to sit in a room with no TV, internet, in a bland and unwelcoming space with no access to food and drink unless you could get up and down the stairs to fetch it.

This is our second time going to laser combat Oldbury and both occasions we had kai who is brilliant fun and friendly. We ado for the music to be lower as we have children with autism and it’s no problem at all.The rest of the staff we’ve spoke to are also very polite and helpful. Me and my family have had a great time on both our visits and definitely be returning.

Kids had fun doing laser as did I. It gets really warm in there so wear something light. Good if you've got big groups.
