As long as this is reviewing the parking near the ye olde fighting cocks pub, there are only a handful of spaces and it is £2+ approx for two hours which unless I'm wrong, was the maximum stay. Wouldn't recommend. London Road car park a better bet or Verulamium Park if it's a nice day for a longer walk into town. That said, this short term area was extremely handy for the cathedral and the beautiful older parts of this lovely historic town.

Google maps took me to that park and not the car park, plus with social distancing the main roads and town was closed off.
