Sweet Ice Cream Lounge

Lovely staff & food. Portions were a good size (not too large that u couldn't finish it, but still filling). Cutlery wasn't particularly clean, but they were having issues with their dishwasher, so it is being resolved.

There is a huge range of dairy free, gluten free and vegan ice cream here (actual ice cream, not just sorbet!).The full range is huge, and the serving options include in a tub, various cones, sundaes or with other foods like pancakes. There is a great many things to choose from on the menu, including a vegan menu.Perfect for kids with dairy and gluten allergies.

This place is the Winchester Mecca of vegan desserts. As a vegan you reay are spoilt for choice with the various pancakes, sundaes and shakes! It is on the pricey side but it's definitely worth it. Plus if you're a student, your ID card with bag you 10% off the price.A definite must visit place if you're in town!

A great place for anything to do with ice cream. I thought the prices a tad high but when I saw the portions I understood why. I had a cookies and cream sundae date and it was easily enough for two people. The service was swift and friendly, no complaints on that score.

Really yummy treats & very nice service. Dairy-free, gluten-free, & vegan options that are very impressive! But if you're dairy-free or vegan, beware: the menu doesn't specify that the waffles come with ice cream, but they do.

As it was a cold damp day, I decided to take my daughters to sweet for a hot chocolate. We had our dog, therefore we sat outside, until we were told that she was very welcome inside. We sat on the sofa's with our dog curled up on the floor. The services was fantastic, full of smiles and helpfulness. The hot chocolate, cream, marshmallows and crushed flake was delicious.

I am writing this review as I eat a Big Brownie Waffle on Sunday the 26th of November at 16:45pmThe restaurant is half full so not overly busy. However, wait time from order til eating was closing in on 15 minutes.The waffle itself was overly dense which led to it being slightly overcooked on the outside and slightly undercooked on the inside. The gelato was great but couldnt redeem the waffle as a whole.The staff appeared friendly but more of them may have helped speed up cooking times.By contrast our usual spot Sprinkles in Southampton has never had more than a 10 minute wait over 10+ visits and averages around 5 minutes with tastier waffles and toppings with similar gelato quality.In conclusion it was good but not great. The gelato was great but the waffle was too dense and it took too long to come.

Nice coffee, plenty of seating and disabled accessible. Lighting can appear to make the place feel cold on overcast days (neon) the first day we visited there wasn't a full range of ice creams however the next day there was. I would say it would have been worth their while to have someone offering tasters outside or openly let you taste a couple before choosing. I couldnt decide both days and no one did this so I just stuck with the coffee.

Wonderful experience. Welcoming staff in a bright and clean environment with a variety of seating, indoors and outdoors. The ice cream tasted fresh and made with really good ingredients. Well worth visiting!
