The Gym Group Beverley

The WORST gym I have ever trained in. The lockers are always broken, the cable machines are not calibrated, the fly machine is uneven, which could lead to serious issues for users. This was pointed out over a year ago to the “Assistant Manager” John, who has failed to do anything. They then have the cheek to suspend peoples memberships for “leaving weights on a machine” that were there when approaching the machine. The gym is full of underage kids who use it to sit on the equipment to socialise in groups, with nothing done by the staff. Just a joke of a place with zero care and focus on their members.

I am a regular user of the gym and the staff, especially Clare Percy, Pat Anderson, Kieran Towse and John Williams, are so professional and knowledgeable. The classes are varied and well thought out. They cater for all fitness ranges and are fun and enjoyable. I would recommend the gym to anyone. ******

Worst gym I have ever been to. Not enough space between equipment, over subscribed, no free water machines, tiny lockers, dirty smelly shower areas. Only a couple of tiny changing rooms. Poor quality running machines. Everything about this place says budget and cheap. Very unpleasant environment.

This is an outstanding gym mainly due to the wonderfully approachable staff. The staff are beyond exceptional. Their physical education and guidance after consultations are excellent. They are always available to help with any issues. Nothing is beyond their capabilities.The facilities are in my opinion to a high standard and are always clean and presented well.The classes that both Claire and John lead are great. They go above and beyond to keep the classes interesting and in doing so have a regular stream of clients attendingI've only being going for a couple of months, and I wouldn't even consider another gym now.Thank you for welcoming me to this gym and helping me to stay focused on my Initial goals

Absolutely the best gym I’ve ever been to.I’ve never been “sporty” and have always felt intimidated whenever I’ve joined a gym and tried to get healthier but my experience with the Gym in Beverley has been nothing but fantastic.John and Claire are really welcoming and go out of their way to make all new members and guests feel welcome.There is no judgement culture. As a complete novice with no idea; I’ve made loads of friends in the classes and have been given well timed and none patronising advice to improve my sessions ten fold.The classes are incredible, especially the bootcamp and early morning classes which Claire and John run completely voluntarily for those us who have hectic jobs during the week.I’ve even been included in social events and can’t actually believe how fantastic this place been for me.I’d recommend without a second thought to anyone at any health and fitness level.

ur clocks stil need new batters..not the best gym on a nite as everyone is focused more on there phones then there training! but friendly staff & the place is very clean& I only live round the corner so its very convenient before work.

I have been to many gyms over the years but The Gym in Beverley is by far the best. It has a brilliant atmosphere and I've met some smashing people who are now great friends. The classes are excellent especially early morning bootcamps and Tuesdays 'Tabatha'. John Williams and Claire Percy are brilliant trainers with their professionalism and enthusiasm. If you haven't been to a gym before .... give it a try at Beverley. Its highly recommended.

I go in 4 different locations in the last 2 months. Here on Beverley is just the smallest one from all off them . You have only 4 showers and that can be quite annoying when you wait in front of the door . Apparatuses : if you compare with London ,York or Doncaster this gym have the most outdated machines, BUT , is ok if you come to gym yo work and if you are determined is ok. Is a small gym and it serve the purpose. Very enthusiastic instructors and very interesting classes. Highly recommended.

I have been a member of several other local gyms over the years but this gym is by far the best that I have visited. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is really good. The classes are brilliant as well and are available outside of regular working hours. I would highly recommend this gym to anybody.
