Great woodland to walk the dogs around nice small river running through the bottom of the woods. Plenty of chances of seeing the roe deer on the walk. Also the industrial history of Copley's lead mining past small car park at the entrance of the woods

No clear path as such but there's a mile or so round the forest. Really quiet and pleasant
