We actually just went in for breakfast, there was a little wait but they were so busy! I had apple crumble porridge which was utterly delicious

A great B&B Hotel with a great location overlooking the unspoiled beach and bay. An old fashioned hotel with eccentric décor with all the rooms different. Just the tonic after a night at the Premier Inn.The breakfast in the morning as a treat and freshly cooked.The hotel also served breakfast to walking people and there was quite a line of those waiting to be seated bears witness to the quality of the service and food provided including snacks and lunches.

This is a perfect environment for rest, writing, sailing, birdwatching, walking, or whatever suits. Exceptional people own & run this place. The food and friendliness are unmatched. As a relative recluse, I found it perfect too! The Starfish cafe caters for everyone in quality & ambience. This place is a real reflection of the seashore beauty of Ballyholme.

Stopped off here for breakfast. Sunny day so sat outside to enjoy the view over Ballyholme Bay and the fresh air!Baho Bay Bap was A1 and my wife enjoyed her scone.Great, friendly service. We'll be back

The best brioche french toast I've ever had.served with bacon,banana ,maple syrup and vanilla creme.fraiche .beautifully presented.cappuccino was quite cold but the waitress quickly brought hot water and milk to the table.fantastic views over ballyholme beach.

Outstanding independent hotel. We had a sea view room with an huge window. This hotel is a large old building ( that means it does creak in places and has quirks but style). Downstairs is the best eateries in Bangor called the Starfish. It is a family run very much part of the landscape.

Wonderful character filled accommodation, friendly service and a great location. Ballyholme Beach is only a few steps from the door step with coastal walks and a variety of restaurants and pubs nearby. Highly recommended.
