I am honestly so devestated. I loved coming to this salon even though it is very over priced. However when I wanted to change my appointment the staff lied to me and said it was sorted then didn’t actually book an appointment so I lost my deposit and they won’t give it back. I have been a good customer and come back to the salon religiously for months! But the women on the phone was so rude and accusatory it is the worst interaction with a company I’ve ever had. I will never go back and unless you want to be ripped off I wouldn’t suggest any one else go.

An overall OK experience, maybe I had higher expectations from my eyebrow lamination and lash lift. However, the waxing did take my skin off from two places as seen in the photo so I'm not happy about that as I'm unable to brush my eyebrows cos of the pain (excuse the spot on my face). Really nice salon though

Had an appointment on the 25/10/23. It’s now the 3/11/23 and my nails have already started falling off. I’ve been to other places in the past and they’ve lasted my 3 1/2 weeks without infills and for a lot cheaper. Very very disappointed for the £52, waste of money. When contacting the salon to raise my complaint, I received a msg telling me my ‘cuticles were overgrown and my nails were bitten and in hindsight I should’ve got a more manageable treatment rather than long acrylics’ - surely it is the responsibility of the salon to advise on the suitability of their treatments rather than expecting the client to make this assessment. I’ve had no issue with any acrylics and length from other nails salons so found this comment quite personal.

Updating my review to add info on Powder Brows - BRILLIANT! I usually go every 4 weeks for hybrid brows (mapping, tint and shape) and Amanda suggested Powder Brows. Yes, it's a lot more money but OMG amazing and will last AGES so will be a saving in the end.This is detailed eyebrow tattoing. Amanda will have a consultation with you and then the brows are done over two sessions, so that you're absolutely happy with the results. There's a little pain but more like a scratching, then the numbing product is applied and then it's absolutely pain free. I had no scabbing and just very itchy brows for a few days - you have to resist the temptation to touch! You'll get clear instructions on post-treatment maintenance and if you follow this, you're fine.It's brilliant getting up every day with natural full looking brows without having to do a thing. I had mine done in September and October (2 sessions) and now in mid-December they look brilliant. Totally recommend.I go to Polished for classic lashes, manis and pedis. Great team, great attention to detail and a lovely environment too.

Had gel nails done for holiday and they were lifting within a week. Contacted salon and they redid my nails with another therapist. These nails then started lifting within a week despite looking after them properly. Informed salon that there must be something wrong with the product as the nails should last between 3 to 5 weeks but instead they blamed it on the workmanship. I saw Charlotte and Poppy and they were both amazing and did a great job.I honestly think it is the product this salon is using that isn’t great despite them saying they use the best brand on the market!

Visited recently to have SPMU brows and I honestly can't thank the salon enough. Amanda gave the most amazing service from start to finish. Explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed the whole way through as it was my first time having this treatment. I am so happy with my results. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

I have been to Polished for several months; however after finding out via a friend they had put their prices up (I was not informed by the business) I decided to cancel my appointment as I cannot afford to pay so much money (almost £60 per month for my nails) in the cost of living crisis. I have not yet received my refundable deposit back from my appointment despite me cancelling with well over 24 hours notice as per the policy on their website. I tried to ring and could not get through. I have disputed through PayPal and they are not responding to the messages in PayPal either. This is a shame because the girls who work there are lovely and so talented, but the place is let down by how expensive it is now and the fact they promise a refund of your deposit if you cancel with over 24 hours notice, but this promise has not been followed through

I have been going to Amanda for nearly a year now for my eye brows we spoke about having the powder brows as she always does an incredible job on my eye brows. I finally plucked up the courage to have them done and she did the most incredible job on my brows, I absolutely love them. I would highly recommend Amanda for any brow treatments she is a very professional and talented lady!Thank you so much! Xxx
