Wind Dial

The wind dial was the most monumental part of my time in Broughty Ferry. It is certainly a place of tranquility and I can honestly, truly say that I found inner peace while in its presence. This piece of art is truly a must see for any history lover who is searching for the true meaning of their soul and purpose. It makes you think and explore the deepest regions of your mind and spirit. Thank you, Broughty Ferry. Thank you.

Pretty simple wind dial. Few meters from the castle

I traveled across the country to see this fabled landmark that legend says rivals the likes of The Eiffel Tower, The Coliseum or the Palace of Westminster. However when I got there it did not meet my expectations. It exceeded them!Upon witnessing this glorious piece of architecture and public art for the first time, I felt my life change as the beautiful sight seeped into my vision. Everything I knew about art was thrown out of the window and replaced with a single solitary metal dial. Piercing the sky in it's glory. Forget the Mona Lisa in Paris or the God Statues in Athens. The Artists of the world need to come to Broughty Ferry and see the one and only: Wind Dial.
