Used J.R. Jones for my sister's, Dad's & last month my Mom's funeral. Such lovely people especially Emily who made one of the hardest jobs I've ever had to do an easy one. I hardly had to think for myself she helped me every step of they way, highly recommend them as they will look after you 100%

From our first phone call to collecting Dad's ashes, J R Jones have been amazing. They are professional in everything they do, with an exceptional attention to detail. The staff are very caring and supportive, in particular Emily and Dave. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Most importantly, they gave Dad the send off he deserved. We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful service you have provided at this difficult time. We would absolutely recommend this professional, caring company.

We would just to like to thank everyone at J R Jones for their compassion and care when we sadly lost our 20 year old daughter Eve suddenly.In particular Alison who helped us throughout and nothing was too much trouble for her. She genuinely cares about her job and you can tell this. She even took the time out to attend Eve's funeral service at the request of Eve's Mom.Also a big thankyou to Eddie who made sure everyting ran smoothly on the day.We highly recommend using these funeral directors.Once again, thank you everybody!

We sadly lost our precious dad a couple of weeks ago. A friend of mine recommended J R Jones of Gornal Wood and I am so glad that she did.From the moment that I rang them everything went seamlessly into motion. The gentlemen who came to take Dad were so compassionate, kind and careful with him which meant the world.The lady who arranged all of it for us was Emily and she was amazing, sensitive, kind and knowledgeable and walked us through a minefield of information at a time when you really need someone who knows what they are talking about.Emily arranged everything for us, helped with choosing a florist (Lyn’s Flowers - Maxine) who was amazing, the flowers were perfect.For what was always going to be a very sad day J.R Jones made sure that it was still beautiful. We recently lost our mom. J.R. Jones made such a difficult time so comforting for us. We dealt with Emily. She was amazing, showed so much care, compassion and thoughtfulness. Even went that extra mile. Our family can’t thank her enough. On the day of the funeral David was so professional but made us feel so at ease. It really did turn out to be a special day. Emily recommended the minister Teresa Bradburn who was equally caring, compassionate and thoughtful. She delivered the service with such feeling. We had laughter and tears with all concerned. With all of our dealings with J.R. Jones and their team we felt part of a big family. I would highly recommend using their services.
