National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

I purchased and booked on line for 4 new branded all weather Tyres after a week I attend to my appointment on time, after waiting for about 30 minutes my car was on the ramp getting the new Tyres fitted. The staff were very polite and friendly after I drove to a car wash and during the cleaning I noticed that one of the tyre was a different brand and of a budget category. I went back and after few calls a member of the staff told me that I would have to go back the next day to get the correct tyre fitted. Very little effort was made to make the experience less disappointing considering that I had to take more time off the next day. I was expecting that a company like National Tyres specialising in Tyres will have experts capable to recognise the difference in brand and have a quality control to ensure that the work correctly completed.

Visiting national tyres yesterday. I had all 4 Tyres changed on my SQ5. I was super impressed with Merkt and Alvin.Awesome customer service from Merkt, Alvin was super efficient. Had my car turned around in a short time. Def by far the friendliest Garage I have come across in a long time.

Booked in a week previous for 8.30 for a Saturday for 2 rear tires and a 4 wheel alignment all paid for up front. Get there 20 mins early. So far so good. Leave car walk off to look for something to eat gets a phone call stating they can’t find my tires.I walk back and they guy basically tells me I don’t know where they have gone. What a complete waste of time, he did offer to re book it but I just asked for a refund, this has completely wasted my morning. Let’s see if there’s any dramas getting my refund back. The reason for the two stars and not one is because the guy was actually very apologetic and friendly. I was going to book in through tyre shopper online and get 4 new tires for BMW along with 4 wheel alignment but this experience has totally put me off, I wouldn’t entertain going through this process again.

Chipped alloy wheel paintwork from National Tyres and Autocare, 151 High St, Enfield EN3 4DY.Very simple. - I had my tyre replaced and found that they Chipped my alloy wheel paintwork in doing so.Complained to Steve the Manager and he denied responsibilities.Be aware - dont go there if you want a big bill to repair your alloy wheels as well.This was my worst experience. This has never happened to me before until now.

WARNING!! Dont use these. Terrible service they damaged my car and won't accept liability.Falsified their records to try and cover up their negligence. Avoid avoid avoidTook 7 days to even respond to my complaintThere are honourable companies out there but not national tyres, keep searching.

I came in with my elderly father to get his tyres changed and all I can say is thank you to Sergio and Panay. These guys gave exceptional service to my father and treated him as one of his own!These men deserve more for what they have done. They really went the extra mile and I cannot thank them enough for their service.

Great garage with easy booking instructions, flexible attitude to amendments via Halfords and affordable price. Oil change was done smoothly and within a reasonable timeframe. Staff was friendly too. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Update 12/08/22. Booked 8.30am for one proxy tyre..told it's a 9am booking, I had no problem with that. 2 HOURS WAIT FOR 1 TYRE CHANGE!!!!. Totally unacceptable. I wasn't informed that there maybe a significant delay, only once I complained did I get told that only one worker is available. We book for a reason because we have work or other responsibilities, otherwise why bother....Other times I came here it wasn't as bad as this, but this delay caused significant work problems for me, so I feel compelled to reduce my original rating to 1 star. Won't be coming back here anytime soon. the tech system and staffing levels are rubbish and Halfords need to sort themselves out as the guys were struggling with new tablet system. Good prices if u book service/tyres online.

I have paid and booked 4 brand new tyres to be changed and the date and time was 20/12/2022 at 09:30. When I went there I got to know that there are only 2 tyres available and after some conversation they called someone and told me that I will get it the same day at 15:00. I am waiting if it comes on time.Noone informed me and I took a day off from my work for this and I would like to say the company doesn’t care about their customer service and commitments.I got to know that National Tyres are taken over by Halfords and I would say the worst place you can go in the UK.

Went in for an alignment on a 3 year old BMW as the steering wheel wasn’t dead centre. They used their tracking machine and went out for a test drive and now the steering is not dead center but is loose and the traction light keeps flashing. I went back within 10 mins and told them the issue and they said that they had multiple people coming back that the tracking made it worse and said that they will need to manufacturer of the tracking to come in and recalibrate. So I was told to come back next weekend to fix the issue so I avoided driving for the week as it wasn’t safe.I handled my key for them to take it on the ramp but instead they took it for a drive without my permission. He always came to me after the drive and told me the steering wheel is dead centre which I blatantly called him a liar so he told it back onto the ramps and tried to make it dead centre which again did nothing. The screenshot shows the final look of the tracking and you can see that parts of it is in the red and when I questioned them, they said they always do that (no wonder for the return customers complaining).I had enough and went to Sam Tyres (Tottenham) the same morning to fix the tracking and they did it within 30 mins. No issues, everything is fixed.Avoid these guys, absolutely messes, especially the Viking looking weirdo.
