What a brilliant car buying experience we have just encountered! We have just purchased a car from here, the guys at the dealership were really friendly, no hard sell, very professional set up. The car is lovely, was so clean when we collected it, came with a new MOT and Service. It was a pleasure to do business. I’ve had some bad experiences with 2nd hand car dealers in the past.. We found our ideal car for our son and paid a holding deposit. When we went to collect the car, I doubled checked the insurance and sadly (due to my error) the insurance costs were too expensive. Phoenix were very understanding and helpful and repaid my deposit. Thank you

I wasn't going to bother writing a review but I think it's important for buyers to be aware of. I put a deposit down for a car and although they offered to have it mot'd I said id get it done at my local garage. I then received a notification saying the vehicle had passed the mot so although I was disappointed they carried out the mot regardless, I was happy that it passed with no advisories. However, upon going to collect the vehicle I saw it jacked up in the showroom. I was then told it needed new brakes and sensor. They had my number so could've called to warn me it wasn't ready. I told them i'd called the office and the mobile number provided, leaving a message with no reply. What was more concerning was the repairs it apparently needed. The seller admitted the garage they use passed the vehicle on the basis they would repair it. I pointed out this Is illegal and was given further excuses as to what happened. That car could have many other failures/advisories. I could've bought that and then they would have a dodgy garage mot certificate to argue it was fine when they sold me the car. The customer service was pretty poor and basically called me a liar when I said I'd called that morning and was told there was no missed calls on the phone. Then said I'd agreed a different time/date. I'm writing this as I could've been out of pocket over £9k. I had to fight hard to get 80% of my deposit back. My generous offer of £400 refund was finally accepted when they realised how badly they'd failed to convince me that it wasnt a good enough reason to provide a refund. Sad thing is if they had answered the phone when I called and told me it wasn't ready I wouldn't have gone down and found out the truth. Check everything and believe nothing. I could say a lot more but I'd rather move on from this shocking experience that has definitely left me more wary of dealerships.

Worst used car company I’ve ever used! Purchased my car on October 17th! By the 22nd of October the car developed its first fault with faulty tyre pressure sensors (photo attached but tyre is fine!) I’ve discovered more faults as the days went by!! Emailed the company, no reply! Emailed again 3 days later, still no reply! Completed the form online, they replied and said the car would be booked in for repair! Partner phoned and was told it would be booked in by 29/10/21 for repair! Emailed again last week, still no reply or update on the repair being done! It’s now the 29/11/21 and I’ve had enough of waiting for a simple email with an update, I may as well set fire to the £6500 cash than make this purchase! PLEASE AVOID IF YOU CAN AND DONT END UP IN THE SAME SITUATION AS ME!!

Paid for a car which i was initially told it was ready to collect the following day. ended up waiting over 3 weeks for nothing as i have since canceled the payment. Poor communication from them, dodging calls and i have lost out on £150 insurance deposit. would not recommend this company at all.

On the initial visit the team were friendly enough, seemed professional and made me feel at ease. I was told the car would be ready to collect by a particular date and put down a deposit as requested to.The delivery date came around and in the afternoon, I called and nobody picked up. Over the next 2 days I called several times with no response. I tried the number given to me by the salesman and the numbers on the web but nobody answered, and I left a voicemail.The following day (3 days after the agreed delivery date) I went up to the dealership and asked for the deposit back. They seemed surprised and said the car had been serviced and was just waiting for an issue which I had raised at the point of sale to be fixed, and a clean. I asked why they hadn't called me on the delivery date to tell me it would be late, and they basically said if we had told you the car was late

Fantastic experience with the guys here, nervous buyer as have been sold sub par cars before. All staff were helpful and polite, car is lovely and valeted before collection. Clear communication throughout the process and very accommodating to my needs and schedule. Would buy here again.
