Cafe St Pierre
Nice little coffee & pastry shop. Bacon quiche was really nice. My partner ordered german sausage baguette - bread was really good but sausage & filling can be better. Fruit pie was fresh. Coffee & hot choc were standard. Staffs were friendly and place is cozy.

Quaint little cafe at the heart of Canterbury. The food was delicious, with a range of dishes ordered by the table and everyone being complimentary about their choice and enjoying it so much we even ended up having a dessert at lunch time. The cafe is very small, so if having space is a consideration you might need to check first. The staff were great, helpful, chatty and encouraging of our little one ordering for himself. Can't rate highly enough.

We had coffee and tea here. There's plenty of seating with a lovely little courtyard, but being rather a chilly day we like most people sat comfortably inside. The service was good with friendly staff.. currently this is for some reason cash only, if you do want a visit we recommend it.

Baguette itself was soft and crunchy, but the filling is tiny for the 6.95 price… I expected more than a thin slit on the bread and a single layer of meat and lettuce, and the mayonnaise was too sweet and greasy and was really overpowering, even with the smoked duck. Definitely go and order from the counter than from the menu, for better decisions and more interesting surprises. In the last minute I got a Kentish honey cake to go instead of French pastries. Creamy, not too sweet, and tasted like layered cheese cake, though I’m wondering what makes it Kentish..The cappuccino was watery, reminding me of the self-service coffee machine at budget hotels. The staff are friendly and helpful (thanks for accommodating my half to go half for here request). The space does feel like a French enclave at the heart of a Roman British town. We took some rest here in the afternoon sunshine before boarding the train as the Good Shed is closed on Monday.Hope one day the food can catch up with the lovely place.

Delightful way to start our day in Canterbury! Really enjoyed sitting outside in the garden and would highly recommend. My almond croissant was amazing — my husband really enjoyed his petit dejeuner as well!

Really busy little cafe (you know it’s going to be good!) with a couple of front tables, indoor tables & garden space (it was full so we didn’t manage to see the garden). We sat in the front. Menu definitely could have been clearer & in larger font. Food was really good & we were welcome to take out although we didn’t think coffee was that good comparing to other places. Major low was when we ordered cheese panini & 2 spinach quiches… lady asked if we want some salad with it so we said yes… not expecting to be charged for it at the end £3.25 pp. Queue was really long, from both sides but we weren’t ready to pay £6.50 extra so I queued to ask what that charge was. The lady said its the salads, I said we had no idea we had to pay extra for it & were not prepared to pay extra(elsewhere when you order quiche or sandwiches you get extra salad &/or crisps without additional charge) but herself & other 2 members of staff just stood there in silence looking at me so I just took it on the chin & left. I’d like to suggest that next time when you offer things like this just clarify that it’ll be extra charge. It would save us frustration & you’d get a 5* review because food was really good (especially Honey Cake). Nobody likes feeling like they were being done over.

Lovely cafe. Friendly, laid back ambience and very dog friendly. The outside seating area was really nice on a warm day like today. Will definitely return for lunch soon, the baguettes looked delicious!

Lovely little cafe in an amazing location. I came here for breakfast, the place was busy and bustling even though it was rainy out so that was a good sign.Service was a bit hectic but staff were friendly and polite. The only feedback I had was that the menu and options could have been displayed or visualized a little more efficiently to make ordering easier as it was quite confusing trying to understand what exactly was on the menu. The cappuccino I ordered was nice but a little smaller than normal and the chocolate croissant was lovely and light.Overall a good vibe and nice place for a cozy coffee.

Nos paramos nada más llegar a Canterbury para desayunar y probamos el petit déjeuner. ¡Todo un acierto! El tazón de café es casi una piscina y el croissant y las tostadas estaban deliciosas.
