Caveman Barbershop

Popped in here as a bit of a treat to myself while out shopping at sat Market.25 quid for a clipper grade 0 on my head and a no3 beard shave. Hot towel included, but only for a neck shave. Initially looked OK, but later on my wife told me I had random hairs missed on the back of my head. Service was OK, nothing special. Wont be going back. I'll stick with the Turkish barbers who do a full hot towel headshave and beard cut for 15 quid.

Great place, dropped in and got seen pretty quickly, did a great job on my hair cut and beard trim.

Decent value, friendly staff

I am a barber working with a team of 5. We were interested in doing a course together and came across the Caveman Barbers and thought (underlined) given the professionalism suggested on their website suggests this company might be a great option. How wrong could we be!! In a nutshell, it's been a joke. Called 4 times and always told , they have no idea when the owner/manager will be in, no one knows anything about the courses, always told can you ring back tomorrow, only to be told the same thing. The person who's answering the phone basically seems to think it's funny that someone is trying to get hold of the owner etc. What an absolute joke of a business if this was our shop I'd be incredibly embarrassed.

£35 for a haircut and beard trim which is no better than the £15 I usually pay elsewhere, the barber i had also didn’t seem to have a clue what he was doing and the owner had to keep intervening and even then it’s definitely not a £35 haircut , wish i had asked the price first before sitting in the seat!Definitely won’t be going back again! Overpriced for the quality of work but that will teach me for going to somewhere i don’t know l.So if you want a overpriced haircut this is your place!

Given the option I wouldnt even leave one star. I was disappointed with my sons skin fade when he returned home, very poor, went to another barbers in Beverley to correct it. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Not the only complaint I've heard about the shop either. Will definitely not be giving this shop anymore business.

Great if you want flashy service and London prices but no bald man should ever pay £25-30 for a haircut. You can get better in Beverley for half the price.

Great experience, quality service by really nice people! Would definitely recommend and will certainly make this my regular place for hair and beard trims.
