Talking Heads

I had to move to a new hairdresser after many years so found it daunting, I was reassured and was made to feel very welcome there was a nice atmosphere and everyone was helpful, I have been confident to try new ideas. Will become a regular!

Unfortunately, I would love to say something good about this hair salon. But I never got the chance to go. I had a appointment, for a wash, cut and blow dry and conditioning treatment. And I had it booked a whole MONTH in advance. The day before my appointment, I was sent an automated text asking me to confirm I was still coming. Then the day of my appointment, I just decided to call up to triple check my appointment was still going ahead (because major anxiety) and the lady on the phone said the women that was supposed to be doing my hair has been off for a full week now, and that they thought that someone had called me earlier that day to say it was cancelled (but no one did). I'm not sure why it was left to the very last minuet to let me know/not actually let me know. But I was excited to finally get my hair back in a good condition after waiting a month.

First time at this hairdresser. My only negative comment would be that there was no consultation before sitting in the seat to wash hair! No checking exactly what the customer wanted, no advice as no consultation. Just straight to the washing sink. Then once in the stylist chair was the question ‘so what are we doing today’?Would be much more professional if a few minutes could be given, assessing type of hair and not straight into hair washing.

What a lovely brunch of humans in that salon!Not only did Brooke do a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations on my hair, she was professional and explained everything she was doing, especially because I’m very anxious about people ruining my hair.She treated it with extreme care and didn’t pull or tug my hair. ♥️

I was wondering to colour my hair. Every other salon was advising that it won’t be possible as I have dark black hair. But Leah (hair stylist) was very positive from beginning. She coloured my hair as I wanted. Very happy for my hair colour. Very friendly, reasonable cost, excellent service.

Genuinely never met more friendlier people! Every employee who I met is a credit to the business, I never leave reviews either but I felt compelled to as Talking Heads are an absolute breath of fresh air, safe to say I will be becoming a regular!
