The Little Marton Windmill, also known as Marton Windmill, is a historic windmill located in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It is a well-preserved traditional tower mill with a conical roof. The windmill was built in 1808 and was used for grinding grain into flour. It's a local landmark and a part of Blackpool's history. While it's no longer operational, it stands as a historical site and a picturesque piece of local heritage. Visitors can often enjoy the view and take photographs of this iconic structure.

I visited Little Marton Windmill on Sunday 25th of June. We were greeted and welcomed in by 2 of the most wonderful ladies I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, one of which being the granddaughter of Allan Clarke. Allan Clarke is responsible for saving so many traditional windmills across England. I highly recommend visiting Little Marton Windmill, the staff there are wonderful, enthusiastic people with so much knowledge! This was the first time I'd ever been anywhere near a windmill, let alone inside one! It is absolutely fascinating! The sails are currently away for maintenance, I'll definitely visit again when they have been refitted. If you are in the area, you must visit Little Marton Windmill! Great place to relax in the summer away from the beach front

What to say about this really, tried to visit on our way home from Blackpool to find it boarded up and dilapidated.Not anyones fault as we discovered a storm had wrecked it a couple of months prior. The disappointment was the website indicating that it was open, there was a visitor centre, etc. and absolutely NO indication something had happened and I had to google the news articles to wonder why it was not open.Don't bother visiting at the moment i.e. the time of writing or the immediate future.
