I thoroughly enjoyed working with Cynthia who tutored me through two VTCT accreditations through the pandemic. She was always super professional, polite and patient given we were studying through a pandemic and were all finding our way through it. I’m so grateful for her and to the academy and can’t wait to start my next course with them. Thank you Cynthia.

Having just completed a course at ELBA (Body Treatments Level 3 International Diploma) I can honestly say I have had a great learning experience at this beauty academy. I have studied at many places before and this is by far the best college I have studied at. Staff were very helpful (Cynthia was very patient, knowledgeable and explained things well), the college was always clean and tidy and the college is in a good accessible location for me. I WILL be returning to do my international Diploma in laser and light treatments level 4. If you are serious about a career in beauty I highly recommend!!!

I came to this college because I was recommended by my friend who is also studying at this college. I am studying NVQ Level 2 in Beauty Therapy. I have found this college to be very good. The Principal and teachers and Staff are very supportive and very helpful to the students. I recently got my first ever fillers done by Giorgiana, who studied at this academy and I’m thrilled with the result! She was patient, kind and explained everything I needed to know about the procedure. Will definitely be returning!10/10 would recommend! :)

I took L2 hairdressing course in this college , that has became the worst learning experience in my life. Overall teaching is very unprofessional, I bought L2 hairdressing book myself and passed all online tests. But the classroom is never available for me to finish my course. I have wasted a lot of money and time on this course. They should refund my money back. I would not recommend anyone to take hairdressing course in this college.

Writing this review from a student perspective (2019)....DISCLAIMER: This review isn't intended to bash" the place but rather to just share my honest review as a student here so perspective students can know EXACTLY what they are getting themselves into and can make an informed decision on whether to attend this "beauty academy".To put it frankly... I did not enjoy my time here at all and it was unbelievably stressful !! I will NEVER step foot in the place again and just thank God I made it out alive and got my qualification.Unprofessional and EXTREMELY unorganised since my first day starting the course all the way until the very end. They are money and not student/craft orientated and just care about your course fees. Teachers are not officially qualified

Really enjoyed doing level 2 and 3. The owners of the school are very professional but also human at the same time.The course is quite intense as it is a lot of theory and practice, but they make it sure you leave their school with the proper practice and understanding of this industry.I am doing my level 4 with them , and I will come back to visit them as they know a lot about the industry and they are friendly.long life to ELBA !!!

After being out of the Beauty world for a long period of time I was nervous about getting into it again especially as I was concerned that I would have forgotten a lot of the core knowledge I'd need for the course. However the tutors made me feel very comfortable and confident in every aspect of the training. The training itself was stressful at times as it is a very limited amount of time you have to do everything, and with a full time job as well it was a lot at times, however I felt I had the support I needed and managed to stay on top of everything. All in all it was a very positive experience and would recommend it to anyone interested in the field.

I joined The east London Academy 2014 to do Level 4 laser hair removal &rejuvenation. I relay enjoined the course and the help to understand better in anatomy working in industry in Laser. It was tough course but with help from Mr and Mrs Gardier the course get easier and easier every week and more understandably. I get Merit and I'am very happy. I gave east London Academy 5 star because not only they are in high standard in lecturer but also the team were very friendly. I felt I was in my Family. Thank you so much for everything you done for me. I always remember both of you.

I had an absolutely terribleexperience with this college. they are so unhygienic and unprofessional. They only care about money, they cheat and lie continually. All the favourite students can use phones in exams but if they don't like you then you cannot. I would advise you not to study here. I am in the process of making a video of my experience here and will be add the link at a later date. They do not have a basic grasp of anatomy and physiology, cannot pronounce the words correctly and Cynthia acts as if she has serious mental health issues or a personality disorder as she continually switches between nice and then angry. They fail you if they do t like you. get your money back
