Giulia has been fantastic in providing not only a beautiful customised wedding cake but also cupcakes and a cheesecake for our guests. She is a pure delight to work with, kind and attentive and super reliable. I cannot recommend her enough for any special events you have. The tasting boxes were excellent as they showcase her versatility in flavours, a personal favourite of ours was the vegan rose and raspberry - incredible combination and so delicious. Giulia made our wedding cake for our wedding in August 2021. Despite it being a last minute order, Giulia was fun to work with an also immaculately professional. She worked closely with our other suppliers and made sure we never had to worry about our cake. The cake was beautiful and the pictures of our cake were some of the prettiest of the day! The cakes were - of course - absolutely delicious and we're already looking forward to being able to eat the last pieces which we have frozen for our anniversary next year!

As someone who rarely leaves reviews, I felt I must sit down and write one for Giulia. We found her on our list of suggested suppliers from Cowdray and from the moment we got in touch with Giulia, she has been one of the easiest and most joyful suppliers we have worked with. We wanted a yellow cake and she made the dream come alive! As our meetings were during Covid it was zoom based but i felt it did not detract from the experience. The samples we ordered were fab and on the day we had nothing but compliments for the cake. Giulia from Cakes in Bloom was brilliant to work with for my wedding and I recommend her services for all future brides & grooms wanting a beautiful and delicious cake for their big day!We decided to serve cake as the main dessert at our 90 person wedding, alongside gourmet ice cream served from another vendor and fresh berries. We opted for a 3 tier cake, decorated with beautiful sugar flowers. Each layer was a different flavour and SO delicious.All of our wedding guests were raving about the cake, and it almost all went on the night!Giulia was so easy to work with, gave us excellent advice throughout the cake design process and provided lots of options. Giulia is absolutely fantastic, she took my vision and turned it into reality! We got so many compliments on not only how our cakes looked, but also how they tasted. Giulia was very helpful in providing a variety of vegan flavours - all of our cakes were vegan, and I don't think any of our non-vegan guests even noticed! Incredibly beautiful and wonderfully delicious.

Giulia made us an incredibly beautiful and delicious wedding cake. We have vegans in the family so wanted to make sure they were catered for, Giulia went out of her way to make sure it was all perfect. We had planned to keep some of the cake back for freezing (as the cake was too big for the number of people we invited) but everyone at the wedding couldn’t get enough of it so we only managed to save one reasonable sized slice! Giulia is creative, professional, fun and communicative. I had full confidence in her to produce the cake of our dreams.

The cake was exactly as I asked for, in fact better as the burgundy coloured flowers on the top were made in sugar past. Chocolate top layer disappears in no time, half the bottom I bought home yummy. Thanks Giulia.

Giulia did a fantastic job on our wedding cake. She worked so hard on the design and really did a fantastic job. Her communication was excellent throughout and she really did make us feel at ease throughout the entire process, giving us time-sensitive updates. To top it all off the cake looked fantastic and tasted even better. We would highly recommend Cakes in Bloom and Giulia to anyone who is planning a wedding.

I cannot tell you how wonderful Giulia and Cakes in Bloom are. She created this beautiful cake for my son and his now wife and it virtually stole the show (and quite a show it was – I can say that, as the wedding was organised by the bride and her parents). Giulia planned and made this incredibly stunning and clever cake at very short notice as the original baker had had to back out two weeks before the wedding under very sad circumstances. She communicated well with me every step of the way, she calmed my nerves and then made this fabulous and perfect cake and the sugar paste flowers were stunning (see photo below of what was left of the cake to see a close up). The cakes themselves (chocolate, red velvet and carrot cake) were delicious and I have a few bits left in my freezer which I am so looking forward to eating after the happy couple return from their honeymoon. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cakes in Bloom for your wedding cake.
