I want to say a big thank you to all the Galaxi Ward (infant area). We have been transferred from Royal Free Hospital and we had a very good experience in both places. I know the waiting time is a big problem in almost all the emergencies and each case must be treated differently, so I can only relate from my experience. My daughter entered the emergency with a very low oxygen level and she was immediately treated. Constantly checked and all the staff was very nice and helpful. I'm gladly surprised with the care that all the nurses and different professionals payed attention to my daughter. I want to thank all of you.

Shocking service. 3 hours wait and still not seen by doctor( triage done quickly). Waiting room way too small, same people still here since we arrived. What a sad state of an A&E dept. Reception lady keeps saying seats are for patients only and threatening to come and point at non-patients"! Avoid if you can!"

Big thank you to the all maternity team at Barnet hospital. Our daughter was born last week and couldn’t be happier with the service we had from everybody there. Special one to Sam (anesthetist) who was absolutely fantastic while I was undergoing through c-section.

Dear Barnet Hospital staff,I am writing to express my concerns regarding the current situation at Barnet Hospital's Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.Firstly, I have noticed that the waiting times at the A&E department have been particularly long recently. I understand that emergencies often take priority, but the extended waits have been causing inconvenience and frustration for patients. Is there any plan or effort in place to address this issue and reduce waiting times?Additionally, I have observed that homeless individuals are being allowed to stay with patients in the waiting area. While I appreciate the importance of compassion and support for the less fortunate, it has become a cause for concern. These homeless individuals frequently approach other patients, asking for money, cigarettes, or food. This can create an uncomfortable environment for patients who are already dealing with their own medical issues.I understand that healthcare professionals have their hands full, but it would be greatly appreciated if the hospital could implement measures to address this problem. Perhaps providing dedicated spaces for homeless individuals to access support services while making sure that the waiting area remains a calm and safe environment for patients. On a positive note, I would like to commend the doctors at Barnet Hospital for their exemplary care. Although I have had issues with the nursing staff, the doctors have always been professional and helpful, providing excellent medical attention. It is reassuring to know that despite the challenges, there are dedicated medical professionals doing their best to help patients.I hope that my concerns can be addressed and improvements can be made to provide a better experience for patients at Barnet Hospital's A&E department.

my son was born in this hospital, I'll tell you about my experience, on the day of birth we were welcomed by the hospital staff in a very nice, friendly and professional way, the birth went well, very good and humane nurses and doctors, after I am leaving at night, we were helped a lot by the very kind and helpful nurses, thank you, the next day we were informed that we had to leave the bed because there were no beds, by an elderly lady in the maternity ward, in a somewhat rude tone, with a Cesario believed that the hospitalization could be at least 2 days, we went fast because of the lack of beds. overall very good and kind staff, the only problem was an elderly lady with a rude tone who told us to go quickly, she looked like a nurse from the Second World War, I thank all the staff at Barnet hospital.

it's my first time going to this hospital and I can happily say that I had wonderful and professional people. The entire medical staff was very patient and always around. I was closely watched by doctors and nurses. I thank from the bottom of my heart those who stood by me and I will always be grateful to them for helping me and giving me the best.Kind regards, Andrada Istvan

Absolutely rubbish went to the first time. We went to the reception and talked to the woman there and she sent us to the wrong room. We waited on the waiting room for about an hour or two to the point that my temperature was about 38.5-89.5 until my sister started complaining to one of the nurses. Then the nurse realised we were wrong we went to the room that we were supposed to be at the start they took my temperature gave me some capsules and after that they sent us again to the same room they sent us at the start we waited another 2 or 3 hours for the check and it turned out that I have an infection the doctor that checked me Wasn’t the best overall waited 6-7 hours rubbish. Don’t know where the money from our taxes go

I’ve been here twice for blood tests and both times I have been in and out before my schedules appointment time. The staff have always been friendly and efficient and it’s the only hospital I’ve ever been in that hasn’t had a ‘miserable’ atmosphere when you walk in the door. It’s a stark contrast to the parent hospital Royal Free, a place that emanates stress, overworked staff and depressive vibes.
