Very aggressive and argumentative manager (grey hair and drives big blue van) as others have already pointed out. Often quite messy here and can be queues. Other workers generally ok.

Seemed to think I was a landlord just because I had a van and dropped garden waste of first pass I've used. very aggressive at coxhoe site need a lesson on manners maybe the owners need to have a quite word or dish out a few p45s might cheer them up then they can spend the rest of there days in wetherspoons

I use this tip a lot as it is my local. This trip 23/5/22 as always the staff were friendly and efficient. They helped me and my friend tip out garden rubbish from a large bag. Always willing to direct me on what goes where

I've actually witnessed similar incidents as noted by the other reviewer and on more than one occasion. One of the staff there can be so aggressive. Can't believe he still has a job there. Threatening people and yelling is just unacceptable. They have a notice thanking people for treating their staff with respect but that obviously isn't a two way thing

It’s ok but it requires major improvement.The staff are helpful but the whole place feels seedy, the bottom of my car scrapes on the ramps every time, and it could do with updating and bringing into the 20th century. It’s a proper mess and other councils do a better job with waste recycling sites. Sort it out Durham.

Quite a small facility and with a narrow route. If more than 4 cars go at once there is a queueThere's at least 1 of each bin and overall is great for small quick drop offs however if you need large amounts of disposal I'd look elsewhere

Coxhoe Household Waste Recycling Centre
The staff are friendly but this place needs condemning.Nothing is ever swept, there is no organisation. The place is a total H&S hazard.For living in a county where council tax is one of the highest in the country I just expected better.
