Brilliant fish and chip. Well done. That's lemon juice. Not oil

Highly recommended Sunday roast, very friendly staff. Inside deco is nice old atmosphere. Downside is only 4 outside tables, but enough space inside.

Found this pub by accident while looking for a place to watch the football. It happened to be the closest pub to me at the time. Great little pub split by restaurant area and place to watch sports on projector screen. Tried the Sunday roast which I had pork belly. So delicious!

Great pub. Nice atmosphere. Good beers. Lots of games so family friendly. Great veg / plant based burger. Other Main options were limited and did not align with the online menu.

UPDATE 9 OCTOBER 2023I entered their guess the rugby result promotion and earned a 2x1 pints of Asahi in a previous visit. When I went on 8th October and wanted to redeem my voucher, the barwoman told me they weren't a managed pub anymore and couldn't accept my voucher, even if I'd only just got it a few days before and it's not expired yet. I felt forced to buy the drink she had already poured but soon left after drinking it. WATCH OUT!! Plenty of more options in the area to watch sports!!ORIGINAL REVIEWOther Fuller's pubs in the area do better Sunday roasts in terms of flavour and size. Quite overpriced for what they deliver at your table! The ale selection is quite poor! They only had London Pride and a Dark Star one... They should have ESB or HSB as a proper Fuller's pub

A great pub. It's called the Wheatsheaf for a start, already a winner! A great modern well turned out establishment, retaining a real cozy feel to it. A wide selection of cask and keg on offer along with a fine 'pub' menu if you are hungry. The staff are lovely, although I though a kp was being given a beating out the back until the delightful lady on the bar assured me it was the chicken schnitzel being prepared! All was good. Great place, well worth a visit.

Monday quiz night visit, had a great time. Good chicken wings, great service/staff and generally a really pleasant pub. Particular shout out to the toilets which were lovely and clean. A good local Fuller's pub that's kept up to a very high standard. Also has a decent outdoor seating area. The beer selection is probably fine for most people, but a little pedestrian if you're a big IPA head or into craft beer. If so, the best stuff is in the bottles.
