Churston Park and Ride to Brixham

Really, just don't bother! More expensive than 4hrs in centre of town, and that is way enough time to stay. I found free street parking about 3/4 mile out and enjoyed the walk in as along prom.

This service might equally be called Park and Walk. The buses are not shuttle buses, which run to town and back. It's a £10 car park with a bus stop. We parked here for the Pirate Festival, but after seeing half a dozen buses fail to stop on the way into town because they were already full, we walked the 30mins into town, some of which was on a busy road without pavement. The young man who took our money was friendly and apologetic and offered our money back, which several others accepted, hence two stars.

Says on website 10/15 mins between buses, Saturday bank holiday weekend there was no dedicated park and ride bus, buses were just ones that pass and these were all full so obviously didn’t stop. Plus is says you can pay by Ringo but you can’t cash only.

Only 6 pounds on carpark including bus return BUT machine only accepted cash in coins so it was a complete waste of time as I haven't has cash since COVID

Terrible service, machine refuses to take coins, so youre there ages trying, eventually managed to get £6 in, there were about 15 of us waiting ages for a bus, although the timetable says every 10/15 minutes, the number 12 bus sailed right past us without even coming into the field where we were told to wait, one of the group managed to phone and we were told to wait on the road, a number 13 bus came along and the driver agreed to take us into Brixham. We saw the driver of the number 12 bus and asked why he didnt stopped he said the bus was full, it wasnt. The trip back totally different, lovely driver who dropped us off in the field

I parked here today, after reading the reviews I was a little nervous as to whether the bus would turn up,I paid 6 pound into the machine, which is coin only, you get a ticket for your car and one to get on the bus, this ticket is for all the people in your car.I was meeting family here then getting the bus into Brixham, prior to their arrival two buses came so that was a good start, some people were having trouble with the machine accepting their 1 pound coins and also one couple put their money in and only got the car part of their ticket, when the next person paid the rest of their ticket came out.I got the bus after my family arrived, it was a short ride into the town around 1120 am them we came back after 530pm.The car park is a small grass field really so could get muddy in winter, there are no facilities here, toilets etc.

Very easy to use. Park, pay by app (there's plenty of WiFi signal so not a problem) & hop on the bus. Friendly staff & easy to find the stop on the way back.

Need to get to Fore St., Brixham so thought Park & Ride a good idea but I tried hard but neither the Park& Ride or Stagecoach could provide details of services on their websites.

Plenty of parking space .Parking is on grass.Buses every 12 minutes into Brixham.(Monday to Saturday) Sunday?

Turned up during half term week (October 2022) and it is clearly not in use. The car parks were all very full in town. Signs to the park and ride are still up with no indication it is closed. Judging by how busy the town was there is definitely a demand for the park and ride.
