National Trust - Blickling Hall
It was a late November day and it was raining so we decided to take a tour of the house. There were no free flow visits on this day anyway. We had an extremely interesting tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. The tour lasted about one and a half hours and at the end we had learned much about Blickling Hall. Definitely worth a visit even on a wet day.

Philip Kerr, the last private owner, helped shaped the National Trust's history, using his influence to find a way of saving great country houses for future generations to enjoy. Free for National Trust members, including parking, you just need to scan your card to have a ticket for your car, yellow button first. Lovely place for a walk. Looks like on Christmas used to display a nice Christmas market quite nicely decorated, I should ask next time.

Nice morning visit. Take plenty of pound coins for the parking or don't queue & go strait to the Barn & pay there by card when you pay for entry, then put your receipt in your car clearly showing you have paid.Beautiful gardens & grounds. Going to visit the house next time.

Such an impressive house, beautifully decorated for Christmas. As always the NT staff are knowledgeable and great. Super cafe, loved the Cornish Pasty. Great 2nd hand bookshop on site too. Gardens are great, probably amazing in the summer.

National Trust - Blickling Hall
Had a great couple of hours here on a Friday. Our children enjoyed the 'spot the items in the house' activity, and the range of old technologies were talking points (the mangle and wireless being standouts). Volunteers were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our time exploring the house and gardens. Sadly didn't get to explore much of the estate, but another time maybe we will!

Absolutely beautiful NT property that is showcasing so many lovely autumnal colours. The lake and gardens are so picturesque. The house itself was partially closed as they are decorating it for Christmas but the tour we did with Liz was so informative and she added a lot of humour. She certainly knew her subject and we really enjoyed it. You are only able to see the house as part of a guided tour and there are only 12 people allowed on each tour so as soon as you enter the property, I would recommend booking it. We loved it all and it has a very nice NT gift shop and café. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

Amazing house and gardens with gorgeous land and walks. The second hand bookstore is one of the best National Trust ones I've been to and the cafes had vegan options which was great. Lovely the local products in the shops and had a fantastic day!

Nice.to find somewhere still open, the hall is guided tours only and book fast so best to get there early, but well worth a visit. The cafe is excellent with good food for good prices (not over the top) and a good selection too.Gardens are lovely with lots of walks that are easy to do if so inclined.

Beautiful house , gardens, and estate. Nice to spend an afternoon just wandering around, enjoying the country walks. Cafe, shop and art gallery also on site. You can even play croquet on the lawn.

National Trust - Blickling Hall
Really wonderful country estate. An absolute pleasure to visit during the Christmas holiday season. It was decorated for Christmas in old English style. The staff in costume and role were delightful and fun, while providing so much useful and interesting information about the history of the estate and aristocracy of England on the whole. Really a treat to visit and highly recommended.
