Hocking's Dairy Cream Ices
You don't need more than vanilla with ice cream as good as this. A flake would be second best and sauce would get in the way needlessly. Good things done well speak for themselves. Hockings ice cream shouts loud and proud and I can't get enough of the stuff while I'm here.

Had several of these ice creams over the week of our holiday. Absolutely lovely and they used real Cadbury flakes, what a bonus. Would highly recommend you chase one of these vans down.

Yes! What a great treat. Only clotted cream ice cream flavour but it was fabulous. 99’s and various cones are options. Important- not where the pin is dropped. They are down the front opposite the Seagate.

Hands down still the best ice cream in Devon, if not the UK! Have enjoyed there ‘99’s’ on visits to Devon over the past 25yrs, and our latest cone at the end of Aug 2022 was no exception. Indulgent, creamy, and with the added bonus of authentic Cadbury’s Flake, they make our trips to Instow Beach extra special

Today, we drove all the way to ilfraconbe specifically to get an ice cream, we got there around 17:50, just before they closed, but the lady had already started cleaning up to leave and wouldn’t sell us an ice cream.

Have a lovely Hockings on your holiday, a must for locals too. Made in Appledore ,sold locally, you wont get this outside of Notth Devon, so treat yourself, and have a dollop of clotted cream on top!!
