After 2 failed attempts at different restaurants for lunch yesterday we found you and 3rd time lucky , we had a lovely meal the 6 of us with our little doggy who was welcomed and the service was great and just wanted to thank you.Your menu is spot on and something for everyone with reasonable prices which is a bonus when we are a large family .Thank you again and keep it up , if we ever holiday here again we will be back to visit .

My wife and I attended The Fox for evening dinner last night (11/10/2023).We were taken back by a group of men in there 30's shouting very loud and using the 'F' word quite a bit. An elderly gentleman intervened as clearly his wife was getting stressed to try and get the yobs from swearing but he failed with a barrage of abuse.The elderly man then complained to the land lady and bar staff to intervein but no action was taken apart from please keep the noise down.My wife spoke to one of the bar staff and she complained, but received a statement saying that the group had been spending a lot of money on drinks so turned a blind eye.Adding insult other couples entered the The Fox, saw the situation and promptly left.To close, if this is how the management treat respectable clients then we will not go there again, shame on you.

We were made to feel so welcome at this traditional pub. The food was amazing and a really good selection with allergen info on the menu. We were staying at a cottage nearby for a week and felt so comfortable that as well as a couple of evening meals, we also had the midweek roast, and breakfast on our last day. The quality and quantity of food was consistently amazing, homemade pub food at its best.

Had a very nice meal. Not much variety on the menu but reasonably priced , service was good, beer was excellent

Reasonably priced drinks and good pub grub.Has a fairly large restaurant area away from the bar and a large garden with play area and seating.Burger and bottle of beer special for £10 on Tuesday evenings is a great deal!

Went last weekend. Partner had a roast and I had a ploughman's, decided to sit outside in the little shelter. Bit of a trek for our server to bring out food (you could see on her face she was not happy at all) veg was cold (must have been sitting waiting for the rest of the roast to be prepared. But the ploughman's was lovely. My partner asked for some condiments and extra gravy but our server never came back??? And no one came back once to check all was ok with our meal. Why allow people to order from an outside seat if staff have an issue with bringing it outside? I know things do get busy but this was bad service..

Great atmosphere nice selection of good food that was reasonable priced. A proper dog friendly pub as ours was allowed inside in the bad area. Well worth a visit.
