Mr Jay Goswamy FRCS

Mr Goswamy is warm, friendly and incredible at his job. Our little boy has recently had his Tonsils removed by Jay and the whole process was exceptional from start to finish. The way that Jay spoke to our son put him at ease. The whole team at The Alexandra were wonderful, so much so that our son “can’t wait to have his tonsils out again!”

I highly recommend Mr Goswamy, he removed an infection near my 2 year old daughters chin, him and his team were excellent throughout the procedure, He also saw with my daughter when she was 4 month's old and I didn't hesitate to go back to see him, he is reassuring and explains everything in great detail, we tried different antibiotics ( something that the NHS were not willing to do) before we made the decision to operate, we felt listened to and understood, something that can be rare with other surgeons

Mr Goswamy is not only an incredible surgeon but a down to earth and friendly professional. I had had ENT problems for as long as I can remember. Finding a solution was not straightforward but with Mr Goswamy’s knowledge and perseverance my problems have finally been resolved and I feel so much better. Thank you so much Mr Goswamy.

Jay Goswamy carried out a tonsillectomy on my 3 year old and removed her adenoids. He also installed grommets in her hers to help with glue ear. Jay and his team have been amazing from start to finish and I would highly recommend him to any parent who’s child is in need of concord care. What it boils down to I saw it as an investment in my daughter and she’s a much happier healthy child after a speedy recovery. I wouldn’t hesitate to put my child under his care again if she needed it.

I highly recommend Mr Goswamy who operated on me recently. He was professional, clear in his explanations, and helped to ease the process. The procedure was successful, and there were no negative consequences. I am grateful for his exceptional care and expertise.

Mr Goswamy has recently performed a bilateral pinnaplasty for my 13 year old son. We met a couple of different surgeons when first looking into the procedure and we were very happy with how Mr Goswamy explained how the operation would be carried out and how well he communicated with our Son. On the day of the op Mr Goswamy and his team couldn’t have done more to put us all at ease and most importantly our Son was looked after incredibly well. He is so happy with the results and the follow up appointments have been very reassuring.

We have had the most fabulous care from Mr Goswamy. He is a perfectionist as a surgeon, and my daughters before and after care was delivered in person by Mr Goswamy in the most generous, kind and gentle approach to children.

Where do I begin. I met Jay back in May 2023 after having a not so great experience with another hospital and wanted a second opinion about the large growth in my neck.Jay made me feel listened to from the onset and acknowledged my concerns. I was booked in for an Isthmectomy in July 2023 and was unfortunately diagnosed with stage 2 thyroid cancer. 12 weeks later, Jay then performed a Total Thyroidectomy - I have never had any surgery before so was understandably very anxious but Jay and the team ensured I was taken care of. I have had two successful operations along with an incredibly neat scar on my neck which has been opened up twice within a short space of time.I have been a patient at The Alexandra Hospital, Spire Didsbury along with The Christie. The care from all three hospitals has been phenomenal and I have met some genuinely lovely people throughout this difficult period.I am immensely grateful to Jay for everything he has done to get me on the road to recovery. I am so thankful I made the decision to find a new consultant as I would never have met Jay who is the only person I would have trusted to perform these surgeries. Not forgetting Jay’s brilliant secretarial team, Sarah-Jane has been amazing over these past few months & has always been so accommodating, fitting me in for any appointments.I recently created a fundraiser for the MENTORS charity set up by Jay to help patients across the North West with head and neck cancer. We have received excellent care from Mr Goswamy and his team from start to finish. He answered all our questions and reassured us during the treatment process. We received excellent care in the Spire Manchester which we could not fault in anyway. We followed all Mr Goswamy's advice following the operation and as a result healing was quick and comfortable.
