A big thank you to the Areo Legends team. They made my birthday Spitfire experience such a very special occasion. The whole team from reception, ground crew and pilots were friendly and welcoming and put us at ease.The formation flight that we had in the Spitfire and Harvard was the stuff of dreams. A geat day out! It started as a visitor to watch my brother in law fly a Spitfire and ended with my own flight in the Harvard alongside!! Great staff, crew and especially to Sam Parker my pilot and Laura for getting me organised and making it all effortless and calm.An experience you will never forget - I recommend it completely.

We arrived at Headcorn on the 14/9/23 a beautiful sunny day It was airless as the wind socks just hung vertically.Met by Jane in dispersal she signed us in set up our video briefing and when complete we were booted and suited ready for flying.We arranged with Jane a further flight in a Harvard that would fly in formation with the spitfire this would allow us to take such memorable films, I would fly along side my wife and another party member would fly along side me.We met Richard Ward pilot of the Harvard who explained the flight detail and then met Anthony Parkinson the spitfire pilot who completed the flight plan of the spitfire.I went up first in the Harvard and awaited the arrival of my wife in the spitfire, words cannot explain the feeling, the rush, the excitement as the spitfire cruised up along side almost what seemed like touching distance, I took some great video footage which we will both treasure for the rest of our lives.My wife flew off to do her sortie and Richard took me through victory rolls and loops in the Harvard ( Brilliant ) when we landed I said to Richard ( wow how do you beat that ) he replied you will when you get in the spitfire later, how right he was.I took off with Parky as he likes to be called at 14:00 hrs and met up with the Harvard we flew in formation banking from side to side eventually flying off to complete our sortie we flew to the White Cliffs of Dover and over the Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel-Le-Ferne, you cannot help but think of the pilots in WW2 who flew in these planes in the very airspace we now occupied.We completed barrel rolls and then Parky let me take control of the spitfire and I completed some banking manoeuvres, I was asked do you want to do a loop? (YES Please ) I will never be able to explain the experience words cannot do it justice and arriving all to soon back over the airfield we completed the sortie with a victory roll,What a day I flew in a SPITFIRE I flew a SPITFIRE my pilot was ex Red Arrows and to top it all off I got to watch my wife do the same it doesn’t get any better than that.Thank you Aero LegendsThank you Jane, Richard, Parky and the ground crew.

Visited over two days in late June 2023.A truly exceptional weekend both for the flyer and the spectator. Looked after by the team to the very highest level of care.If I could score it higher than five stars I would.It’s a Spitfire being flown a legend, What’s not to love.Well done to the team at Headcorn, with gratitudeThank you

The flying experience is amazing. Compton Abbas provides the perfect base for the experience.Ground crew are very professional, and well trained. Charlie Brown is an amazing pilot, and you feel safe and secure in experiencing the best of the flight.Flying in tandem with the T6 made the flight even more enjoyable being able to share the skies with the wife.The only criticism I have is with the onboard video. This has been replaced by a couple of gopro's instead of whatever the built in system was. The field of view is very limited, and there isn't any communication being heard in the plane etc. You're then given the 2 sd cards out of the cameras. If you're pnot computer savvy or able to edit or transfer the recordings then it's not easy to watch. Whilst not expecting an Oscar winning cinematic presentation, I was expecting a bit more for my £150.00Highly recommend the flying experience, and we had a great day out at the airfield.Thanks Aerolegends.

An amazing experience. - genuine bucket-list stuff. - rendered all the more enjoyable by the warm embrace of a truly professional team : from Flt Lieutenant Charlie Brown ( whose love of his “warbird” is palpable (and, clearly fully reciprocated by “Elizabeth” ) through the Ground Crew - Laura, Jo, Sam, Paul, James L…… and not forgetting the other James - who, together, made this birthday gift from my children a truly unforgettable ride.Heartfelt thanks to you all.Stuart Comberbach

I surprised my Wife on her Birthday with a 30min flight in the Tiger Moth. Great experience from start to finish. Ground crew and reception very friendly and helpful. Great Cafe with viewing area. Her pilot was Flt Lt Charlie Brown which made it even more of a privilege to be flown by such a flying Legend.

Absolutely wonderful. I booked the Aero Legends 'ultimate experience' which involves flying the Tiger Moth, Harvard and then the 'crowning glory', the WW2 Spitfire with top pilot 'Parky'. We few across Kent in formation with the great Charlie Brown, down the English Channel, past Beachy Head and then did several passes of the White Cliffs of Dover. Returning to Headcorn, we di several 'barrel rolls' over the airfield. All staff where excellent in their performancies.

Well, what can I say, yesterday was an unreal experience; getting to experience aerobatics in a T6 Harvard courtesy of the fantastic guys at Aero Legends, is difficult to put into words.I want to thank my Pilot Gavin Ashdown, top guy and great sense of humour throughout!
