Just had replacement knee surgery so could not do the lawn myself.First Cut was recommended to me and I am so glad I called them. Stephen does far more than just cut the grass, he does the edges and around ornaments, cleans up pathways etc. I would highly recommend him. I have booked him again and also to do my hedges when appropriate

I chose Stephen based on his gardening ethos of knowing the requirements of individual plant species, sensitivity to his client's gardening requests and before and after shots of work completed in client's gardens.The work was to be carried out in my parent's garden. They were very pleased, this is what my Mum had to say Stephen of First Cut Gardens is a very amiable gardener who cares about pleasing his customers and is prepared to listen to suggestions and discuss procedures

We used a couple of other gardening companies before we found Stephen and they weren't great. Found Stephen and we've never looked back. His work is of a really high standard but beyond that, it's the little things he spots and sorts. A few of our new trees had gone over in the high winds and without me mentioning it, or asking him, he stood them back up and staked them for me.A genuinely lovely man who takes a lot of pride in his work - we're keeping him forever!

Absolutely first class service from First Cut! Having just moved into a property where the garden had become overgrown, we sought Stephen’s advice on how to move forward. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of advice. Having completed the work today we are delighted with how he has transformed the garden. Fantastic job! He’s also very friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely highly recommended.

We are delighted with the gardening work that First Cut gardening services have provided. We have a holiday letting cottage and Stephen has come regularly to maintain the garden for us. I would highly recommend this company for the quality of the work and the reasonable cost charged

I've only just found Stephen, I almst stumbled across him and I'm really glad I did. I love gardening, however I simply don't have the time to take care of my large and unweilly garden. Stephne cam around, and within the space of a few hours transformed the garden. He is now a regular service that we wouldn't do without. Well priced, really friendly, and I couldn't reccomend him highly enough!
