Come here often for food and drinks. Food is always brilliant! Portions are really good so we often get just some starters/sharers and eat ‘tapas style’ - can definitely recommend the Lovers Tiff.Drinks are nice too - can’t really go that wrong with a cocktail!Staff are really friendly and personable. Always attentive and nothing is too much.A nice environment for a special occasion, a family meal or a date night.

Awesome food, fast and friendly service, a good range of drinks, a cool location (we could see HMS Price of Wales and the Spinnaker Tower from just outside) and reasonable prices. What on earth else could you want? The salads and pizzas were especially good (and large).

We went to Arty's for dinner however they had just closed the kitchen early as they were so quiet, and there were only two tables occupied. We had checked Google which said the kitchen was open until 8.30pm (as updated by the owner 4 weeks ago). The young lady at the bar was very apologetic however there was another older lady who was less so and said we should have booked.I appreciate how difficult it must be when managing a business such as this due to the cost of remaining open. There was an opportunity for them to be helpful however, as we asked if she knew where else might be open as we don't know the area. She suggested we try the Stoke Road nearly a mile away. When we left I looked on Google Maps and found the Bakers Bar & Kitchen less than 100 metres away. We went there, found them open, friendly, still serving food and enjoyed some delicious homemade pizzas. Arty's were clearly trying to keep us away from there however had they been more helpful we may well have booked to return.

Great venue for a meal or just a drink. Excellent menu and well priced for its location. Very friendly and welcoming staff and very nice decor, with art available to buy. Views over towards HMS.Victory, the Spinnaker Tower and the nearby Marina. You can also view the passing ferries.Highly recommended for couples, groups and singles...Not certain about families? Well worth a visit, but be aware it's slightly off the beaten track and car parking (unless displaying a disabled persons Blue Badge) appears to be permit holders only.

In keeping with the historical surroundings it has no external signage, but it is well worth seeking out this delightful bar/restaurant. It is rare to find a service team working so well together, and the kitchen must be equally well connected because the food they send out is amazing - from their own burgers, pizza, even bread sticks with in-house dips. Wherever you find yourself tied up around Gosport this is well worth the land based steps.
