urbanest Westminster Bridge Student Accommodation

Giving it 2 stars only because the location is spectacular. Urbanest is equidistant from Westminster and Waterloo stations which makes the connectivity phenomenal. It’s very centrally located so easy walk to places or bus/train to wherever you need to go around London or even outside of London because of the Waterloo station. The views from the 18th floor are wonderful - highly recommend taking advantage of that if you end up living here.The gym/pool/sauna are also a plus but you have to pay extra and the price is a whopping £300 something for the year. If you leave earlier, want to cancel or transfer your membership to a replacement tenant, that’s not an option.Other than that, the rooms are subpar and extremely small for the rent they charge - it is incredibly expensive for a student accommodation and you’re better off getting a shared flat with your friends or subletting through the student groups on Facebook. There is very little ventilation in the rooms and the view is usually not what is shown in the pictures.The overnight staff and mailroom staff are very sweet but I found the staff during regular hours to be incredibly unhelpful and in some cases just plain rude. I had to chase them for months on end to get my payments settled upon the end of my tenancy and their team would not respond even after multiple support tickets/emails and voicemails.I wouldn’t recommend unless you have nowhere else/are okay with splurging.

Loved living here while I was a student. If you want to stay very central in London then this is the only spot for it. If you get a room, grab it.

I can’t explain in words how much I have loved living at Urbanest for my final year of undergraduate. All the staff made my stay easier, they have always helped me with any problem, from a lost letter to come and fix the microwave within minutes. The rooms are spacious and there is lots of privacy between one room and another. All the common areas are fantastic. I wish I could still watch the sunset from the terrace, play table tennis all night long and watch the sunrise while having breakfast. I miss all the incredible staff that works there, from the reception team, to the amazing guys that comes and fix everything within minutes. Thanks Urbanest for making my last year of university the most special one, I will never forget a single second of it! ❤️

The accommodation is amazing - staying here for the second year, planning to stay again next year. Extremely convenient, particularly for LSE, amazing facilities and the best staff you find (shoutout to Damir! - he’s THE Greatest of All Time). 100% book this place.

Urbanest Westminster Bridge is an excellent location for students. It’s extremely close to the Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Westminster Abbey. It’s literally situated in the heart of the city and I must say the view from the terrace of the accommodation is breathtaking. I always go there when I want to get some fresh air and feel happy. I feel so safe in this area. Also, it’s literally got Tesco, M&S Simply Food, Sainsbury’s, Pret, and Co-op with in 5 mins of walking. The Waterloo station is also just 7 mins away. EVERYTHING A STUDENT CAN ASK FOR IS OFFERED AT URBANEST. However, the staff is sometimes not helpful, but you rarely have an issue here. BOOK YOUR PLACE IN THE JANUARY OF YOUR COMMENCEMENT YEAR! Also, try and book higher floors on the external sides.

The management at Urbanest Westminster is amazing and the manager Bruno is super accommodating and helpful. This one time I needed an iron to iron my clothes for an event and he drove and went out of his way at 4 am to get it for me. Super grateful.

I recently visited Urbanest and was extremely impressed with my experience. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking and truly one of the best in the city. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to all of the major attractions and transportation. Additionally, the facility was extremely clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, I highly recommend Urbanest for anyone looking for a great location and unbeatable view in London.
